"Violet."
A deep voice startles me awake. I quickly lift my head off of the desk, trying to act like I wasn't asleep, to find Harry staring at me with that same dimpled smirk on his face.
"Good morning, Sleeping Beauty." He chuckles at me and sets a coffee down on the desk in front of me before taking a sip of his own. "It's a good thing I came prepared."
"Thank you." I mutter, smoothing my hand down my face and try to rub the tired out of my eyes. I didn't get any sleep last night. A reoccurring nightmare of what happened just outside my house kept invading my dreams.
"You okay?" Harry asks as I take a sip of the coffee that he brought me.
"How do you know my exact coffee order?" I ignore his question, cocking an eyebrow at him, unsure if I should be impressed or concerned. "Stalker?"
Harry chuckles, sitting down in the chair opposite me on the other side of the desk. "I just told them to make it how you do. Medium roast, a shot of cream and two sugars."
"Stalker." I narrow my eyes at him, before giving him a soft smile. When did he have time to notice how I make my coffee?
"How did your finals go?"
"What?" His question catches me off guard. My finals were nearly a week ago, and I don't even remember telling him about it.
"Finals?" He asks again.
"Oh...really well actually." I smile, proud of myself for how hard I've worked and how much it's paying off. "I have one more test this next week and then I'll be done."
"Atta girl." He congratulates me, shooting me a big smile.
"Where have you been?" I question him out of nowhere, immediately wanting to take it back when he raises his eyebrows at me. "I mean, I haven't seen you at work, and you're literally always here."
"Some family stuff." He shrugs, nonchalantly. I don't miss how his eyes shift away from me though, seeming uncomfortable. "Nice jacket."
He smirks when I glance down at myself, realizing I'm wearing his jacket.
"Oh shit." I quickly shrug the material off of my body and hold it out to him in my right hand. "I wore it today so I wouldn't forget to give it back to you." That's a lie, but a pretty good one for being on the spot.
"It's okay, Vi." He chuckles, but glances down at my hand for a second too long before taking the jacket from me and laying it on his lap. "Looks better on you anyway."
Before I get a chance to react embarrassingly to his comment, the office door swings the rest of the way open, Cas bursting in.
"The fuck are you two nerds doing in here?" He asks, eyeing Harry and I suspiciously and glancing down at the jacket in Harry's lap.
"Brought Violet a coffee." Harry states, standing up from his chair. "She needed it too, seeing as how she was sleeping on the job." Harry winks at me.
"I'm so telling dad." Cas laughs at me.
"Cas, can I borrow your torque wrench? I broke mine." Harry asks him, taking the attention back off of me.
"Sure man, it's on my bench."
"Thanks." Harry says to him before shooting me a look and exiting the room.
After Harry turns the corner and is out of my sight, I look at Cas to see he's staring at me with his eyebrows raised.
"Don't look at me like that, Caspian."
"Got the new guy bringing you coffee? And was that his jacket you had on this morning?" He asks, his face slightly concerned. "What are you doing, Vi?"
