Bill and Sydney skidded to a stop, now in front of the house on Neibolt street. They shared a look, before dropping their bikes and walking up slowly, right next to each other, almost holding hands.

They stopped when they reached the gate, shaky breaths escaping their lips as they stared up at the house. It seemed even scarier now than it had when she and Eddie were attacked.

"H--H-he thrusts his fists against the post and still insists he s-s-sees the g--" Bill muttered, Sydney placing a hand on his shoulder when he let out a frustrated huff.

"You're doing better." She smiled, just as they reached the final step up to the front door.

"Guys!" Someone called from behind them, Bill and Sydney turning around to see Beverly and the rest of the Losers. "Guys, you can't go in there. This is crazy."

"Look, you don't have to come in with us." Bill spoke, Sydney stepping back and closer to the door. "But what happens when another Georgie goes missing? Or another Betty? Or another Ed Corcoran? Or one of us? Are you just gonna pretend it isn't happening like everyone else in this town?

Because I can't. I go home, and all I see is that Georgie isn't there. His clothes, his toys, his stupid stuffed animals, but... He isn't. So walking into this house, for me, it's easier than walking into my own." He glanced back at Sydney, who was staring down at her shoes. "And I know it's the same for Syd."

She looked up, nodding at him softly. They both turned back around, Bill wiping his eyes, Sydney smiling reassuringly.

"Wow." Richie breathed from behind them.

"What?" Ben queried, everyone staring as they went to open the door.

"He didn't stutter once."

Richie, Ben, and Eddie went to walk forward, then Mike, and Beverly. Sydney glanced around for a second, before her eyes landed on an empty cola bottle on the floor. She stepped down the stairs and grabbed it, everyone watching confused as she smashed half of it, leaving the neck of the bottle and the sharp edges of broken glass.

The group stared at her confused, Sydney rolling her eyes. "What? We're about to fight Ronald McDonald's, fucked up, crackhead cousin. You think I'm going in there unarmed?"

"Wait!" Stanley yelled suddenly, everyone turning around, including Bill and Sydney. "Um... Shouldn't we have some people keep watch? You know, just in case something bad happens?"

"Wh-who wants to stay out here?" Bill asked, everyone, besides Beverly, Bill and Sydney, held their hands up.

Sydney rolled her eyes, everyone slowly letting their arms fall back down to their sides.

"Fuck."

Sydney creaked open the door to the house, Bill, Richie, and Eddie close beside her, although she was still a little in front.
