Chapter Eight - Broken

Jungkook pov

"Kook that's enough, you had too much already"

I shook my head as I poured more vodka into my glass

"You don't understand what I'm going through Hyung" I said emptying the glass in my mouth at once "you don't know how much I'm hurting right now"

"It's not the end of the world kook, it wasn't meant to be" I turn to look at him slowly

"He is my life, without him I'm nothing," I said getting up while holding the bottle "I can't live without him"

"He isn't dead, he's -"

"He is not mine!!" I shouted cutting him off "I did everything just so he will notice me. I ruined his past relationships, just to have him to myself but all that was for nothing!" I cried

His eyes soften at that

"Jungkook I -" he tried saying but I cut him off

"I can't live like this, knowing he won't be mine. Seeing him happy with other people, not me" I said

"You're drunk kook, you don't know what you're saying"

"I can't take it anymore," I said grabbing my keys off the ground and running to my car

I heard him yelling behind me but I didn't care. I got into my car and drove off

NAMJOON POV

"Are you fucking serious!!" Jin shouted in surprise after I told him everything that happened yesterday

I nodded sipping on my cup of coffee, while he shakes his head in disbelief

"So where is jungkook now? Have you managed to contact him?" He asks. I shook my head putting my cup back on the table

"No, I tried calling him last night many times but he didn't pick up, I went everywhere I know he would be, even called his office but he wasn't there," I said "I'm worried jin, what if something happened him"

"Relax Namjoon, nothing happened to him, he is fine"

"But his last words to me before he ran out of the house, scared me. What if he actually tried to kill himself and succeeded"

"Stop saying that. Jungkook won't go that extreme to take his life cause of a rejection" he said "he is a grown up now. He won't do anything stupid"

I know his words were meant to calm but they only made it worse. I know how jungkook is, I know how he thinks and I know he is stupid enough to do what he said.

I was brought out of my daze when I heard my phone ringing

I quickly pick it up, when I saw jungkook name on the screen

"Kookie where we're you? I've been worried. I called you numerous times but you weren't picking up, are you okay? Where are you right now? I'll come to pick you up"

"Is this Kim Namjoon guardian of me jeon?" A female said instead of jungkook. Her question made me confuse

"Yes, who is this? How do you get his phone?"

"Me Jeon got into an accident and is currently in critical condition. We need you here, as his guardian to sign some papers so he can be operated on" she said

My eyes widen as I felt my world crashing in front of my eyes. He really did it. He really tried to take his life

"Whic-which hospital is that"

"I will text you the location immediately after the end of this call," she said "and also we need you to get here as soon as possible"

"Okay I'm on my way" with that she ended the call

I wasted no more time grabbing my things and was about to leave when I was stopped by Jin grabbing my wrist

"What's going on Namjoon? Where are you going in a rush?"

"Jungkook got into an accident," I said in a haste

"What!?!"

"I have to be with him, he needs me there now"
