Lila fell asleep in the car so I had to carry her to the elevator and to her front door when Tara opened the door she was awake but still looked tired and worried.
"What if he lives here?" She whispered as I put her down on the couch
"We just saw him this morning, it can't mean anything." Tara said grabbing a blanket
I watched as Tara threw the blanket over Lila before walking to the kitchen making me follow.
"I'm pissed at you." She said
I rolled my eyes "I brought her back didn't I?"
"Yes but the thing is Sam you don't know the whole story." She said pointing her finger at me
"I don't want to know it either." I said before leaving her apartment
I looked behind me as I was about to open the door to my place but I kept walking until I was in my bedroom changing out of my clothes and laying in bed.
I wasn't worried about her.
I can't be worried about her.
I got other shit to deal with besides some girl who has problems, but the possibilities of someone like her in my life could make a difference.
But I barely know her.
