Last time we focused on Zoro, Robin, and Momo. Now it's time to change perspectives and focus on another green haired fellow.
The name of this boy is Izuku Midoriya. He was born on July 15th. He had curly green hair and small freckles on his cheeks.
His most prominent feature would be his emerald eyes. When he brightens up so does his eyes and some people become entranced by them.
He was the son of Inko Midoriya the same Inko who worked at Zoro's and Robin's company. When Izuku was born Inko was the only one there since her supposed husband Hisashi abandoned ship before Inko could tell him that she was pregnant.
She thankfully took some of Hisashi's money before he left which was honestly quite a bit. She was concerned about how he got all this money since he never really mentioned what his job was.
He could've been a criminal for all she knew so it was probably best that he did leave even if he had good intentions.
This was probably not the case since she noticed that Hisashi liked to flirt with other women right in front of her.
So when Izuku was born, Inko vowed to teach him how to become a decent human being so that she wouldn't have to deal with another Hisashi.
Thankfully as Izuku grew he seemed to be very kind and well mannered. He got along fine with the son of her best friend Mitsuki Bakugou.
The son's name was Katsuki and he had Blonde hair. He also has red eyes and sometimes he would look like he was always angry despite being a young kid.
Unfortunately this friendship would not last very long. The main reason why was when Izuku turned four.
Izuku: Mommy can I go check my quirk?
Inko: Of course sweetie let's go!
They went to the doctor who did the same test that Momo did. Unfortunately that was the start of the bad times for our broccoli boi...
Doctor: I'm sorry Ms. Midoriya but it seems that young Izuku doesn't have a quirk...
Izuku: Can I still be a hero?
Doctor: Sorry young man but I think not since it would be too dangerous.
Izuku was heartbroken when he heard this news. Inko took him home and tried to make him feel better. Then Izuku asked the question that broke Inko's heart.
Izuku: Mommy can I still be a hero?
Inko would normally say something like I'm sorry or something that would be the same as saying no. She was smarter than that since his hopes were already crushed once so she said something else.
Inko: It will be close to impossible Izuku but if you're willing to work hard to be a hero... Then I think yes!
With that the waterworks broke and Izuku and Inko spent the rest of the time hugging with Izuku smiling and Inko vowing to help her son achieve his dream.
The day after that Izuku was in the local park where all the kids were. Then he saw Bakugou with a quirk. An explosive one at that. When Bakugou learned that Izuku was quirkless that would be the start of a decade of bullying.
Bakugou: So you want to be a hero? How can you be a hero without a quirk to defend yourself?!?
Being the smart four year old he was he decided to blow Izuku up.
Bakugou: See you couldn't even defend yourself from that punch! You're just a defenseless Izuku... Or maybe your just a Deku!
That was when the name started to gain more fame and all the kids in the block started calling poor Izuku Deku.
If course Inko wasn't having any of that and decided to talk to Mitsuki about it. Mitsuki was rightfully angry at her son but when she confronted him, Bakugou still insisted on calling him Deku so the name was there to stay.
Mitsuki and Masaru Bakugou her husband along with Inko tried their best to make sure that both boys stayed seperate from each other. Unless they wanted to make things worse so Mitsuki attempted to have Katsuki go to anger management classes which only made him even more angry.
That didn't work once they started going to school. For 10 years Izuku was in complete hell. It only started with the students who would call him names.
Freak, creep, and weirdo were the normal names associated with him. The most prominent name would of course be Deku.
Then soon enough the students started getting ideas about using their quirks in order to make them stronger. Unfortunately that would mean that Izuku was going to be the main target.
The range of quirks that would hit him everyday would be unlimited. He was burned, slashed, bruised, and Blown up every day.
Then there were also the so called pranks that would be pulled on him. The most prominent would be fake confessions which would end up with him beaten to near death.
Mitsuki, Masaru, and Inko weren't oblivious to what was happening to Izuku. Especially when Katsuki was the main cause of all of the bullying in the first place.
They tried to talk to the staff, but unfortunately they said they would handle it but they were also part of Izuku's bullying.
It started with the teachers simply ignoring him and letting the students have their fun.
Then it evolved into the teachers slowly joining the students one by one. They even tampered with Izuku's records to show how he was a bad student while Katsuki was the star student.
This kept going until the end third year of middle school. Izuku and Katsuki just finished class until Katsuki being the foolish boy he is decided to ruin Izuku's day.
Katsuki: Here's some advice... Try taking a swan dive off a roof to get a quirk in your next life!
These words stuck with Izuku and when he was walking home things got worse since a slime monster popped up.
Sludge villain: Oh goody! You will make a great bodysuit!
Well that's another chapter done! I hope you enjoyed it and see you in the next one!
