Akash Vaani

Chapter 23 : Decision

Vaani stood at the entrance of her house disheartened. Malini opened the door to find her and did not understand her unplanned visit.

Before Krishnan and Malini could speak anything , Vaani walked inside her room

"Ennaku tired ah iruku , na konjam neram thunguren " Vaani's face was pale , the swollen eyes told a different story.

"Vidunga ! Ava kita na apram pesuren " Malini tried comforting Krishnan , who has never seen his daughter lifeless.

Vinay did not mind her instruction and barged in to his sister's room.

"Duck uh ? " He tried calling her out.

He saw his sister silently weeping , which definitely alarmed that the issue was serious.

Vinay made her sit and lay her head against the headboard.

"Enna achu nu keka poradhu illa ! " Vinay hugged her.

The miserable Vaani was something which the entire family weren't privy to.
Vaani hugged Vinay back and completely cried her heart out.

Vinay once after he put her back to sleep , stepped out of the room to see his parents anxiously worried.

"Ava thunguna seri ayruva  ! " Vinay wanted the peace in his parents as well.

The entire Ravindran family were distorted , the life of the house seems to fade away as all of them were inside there respective rooms not even wanting to meet eachothers face.

Akash sat on his bed with not knowing how to take things further. He felt empty , he felt a part of him as bid bye to him.

His eyes fell on the red thread that was tied around his right hand.

He was soon taken back to the memory on how did this red sacred thread came up to him

" It's okay Akash ! Project kedachurum " Akash tried comforting himself with taking deep breaths in between .

He walked past the corridor with his files in his hands , when Vaani pulled him behind the huge pillar.

"Vaani , yaravudhu pathura poranga " Akash looked around here and there.

"Idhu na solla vendhiyadhu , neenga sollitu irukinga " Vaani slammed her head.

"Vaani meeting ku time achu , night namma spot la meet pannalam ? " He urged as he was impatient.

He did not hear her speak and looked at the little figure who was busily tieing the red sacred thread around his hand.

"Enna idhu ? " Akash wanted to know the kutty story she would say.

"Bayapudhama ponga ! Ellam nalla mudiyum .. Loudspeaker iruka bayam en? " Vaani raised her eyebrows.

Inspite of knowing his tension, she was sure to bring that small Faint  smile on his face and that's why he knew Vaani is with whom he is destined.

The mere thought of how her mere presence made him realise that she indeed was his strength at the same time his  weakness. The thoughts of Vaani were flooded in his mind. But to get back Vaani in his life he needs Sapna's happy consent.

Sapna sat there , a shattered mother sobbing her heart out.

Even after hearing the loud sound of the door opening and closing , Sapna remained intact on her position . Her eyes looked up to find Madhavi paati approaching her with moving the wheels of the wheel chair.
