Chapter 25 : Another Chance

Two days passed , she started seeing Akash almost in every situation but she wondered if it was her day dream or he was in real and chose to ignore the fact.

The girl who kept being chirpy all through out her life started choosing silence as her protection from unwanted thoughts.

But little did her family knew , even the silence reminded her of how much introvert Akash was.

With her mind filled with such heavy thoughts , she sat on the bench in the park with swaying her legs back and forth.

"Oru vezha avarukita annaiku pesirukanumo? " Her heart questioned but in contrary her mind denied that option and conveyed to leave the things as it is.

She realised someone's presence , when she turned to see Akash sitting near her.
Without thinking twice Vaani , tried to get up from the place but was pulled back and she sat again with a thud.

"Inga enna panra ? " Akash raised his eye brows.

" Neenga innum kelambalya ? Tara wait pannitu irupa " Sarcasam was evident in her tone.

"Innum teditu iruken ! " His deep voice still managed to send shivers down her body.

"Tolachutingala ? Inga neenga teduradhu kedaikadhu , might be unga ooru la irukalam unga amma ku puduchadha kuda irukalam " Her voice did stammer in between , she did know that it was hurting her but to see person opposite to her remain intact made her realise how much she let her words

" Ennaku sondhamanadhu inga dhan iruku, Kotagiri la tedhunalum kedaikadhu " He had his trade mark smile thinking he might woo her back.

"Inga ungaluku sondhamandhu onnum illa " She crystal clear denied the fact.

"Iruku unkita dhan iruku " Akash knew her anger is temporary , but in this process of trying to convince her he realised how vulnerable she tends to be.

"Enkita onnum illa ! " She disagreed and stood up from the bench , she began walking towards the gate of the park leaving Akash on the bench.

The minute she started moving ahead , there stood a stray dog gawking at her plight ... though Vaani is comfortable with Hazel , she obviously found uncomfortable with other dogs.

She started taking baby steps towards the gate , but the intensity of the dog's gaze increased as she walked. The sudden bark from it made her run resulting in the dog chasing her .

For a minute she did forget whatever happened between her and Akash , that she sort his help out. She hid behind him with her hands encircling his well built arms.

Akash threw a stone at the dog,  resulting it to run away and he did look down at the figure who has closed her eyes with pressing her tiny little hands on him ,his insides took a 360 degree u turn.

"Please please please ! " Vaani still murmured under her breath.

"Oiii ! Naai poi romba neram achu " He whispered in her ears.

Vaani jerked with her hand still holding him , she looked at the line of his eye sight which went to her holding him . She instantly withdrew her hand.

"Ennaku prachana illa ! Nee puduchukalam"
Akash spoke only to be silenced with a glower.

"Ennaku prachana dhan ! " Vaani's voice seemed pale as she retired back without looking at Akash

Akash stood there in front of the giant doors perplexed as to whether walk in or not. Will Vaani be at her home ? What would he speak if he encounters Vaani's parents... so many unplanned doubts and questions popped up in his brainy mind.
