Malini, all decked up in the traditional silk dark blue saree, worked with zari. While she finished setting her hair up and turned to have a look at Krishnan, who was busy guiding his invitees regarding the engagement venue ( Jenny's residence)
Like wise, Dev was held up with one last checking of the arrangements done for the engagement because he wasn't ready to face any wrath from his beloved wife. The Ravindran family was alloted a few rooms for them to get ready like that of Vaani's family
Malini walked around the hall, and there she found the thin stick man structure busy hogging on to the welcome drinks.
She stood with her hands placed on either side of her hip , while Vinay gave her a sheepish look.
"Arrangements ellam seriya iruka nu pakka sonna , Juice kuduchutu irukiya ? " Malini questioned.
"Illa Malzeyy ! Juice kuduchutu themba vezha pakkalam nu dhan " Vinay tried handling the situation . He knew his mom had been running on the wheels for the past a week, and any conversations with her would lead to slipper shots.
"Sherwani ku button lam poda matiya ? " Maalini rolled her eyes as she buttoned her so-called responsible son's kurtha.
She looked at his hair, and before she could speak , Vinay urged. " Edhu venalum panna sollu mudi ah matum todadha maalz ! Idhu fashion unnaku sonna puriyadhu "
Maalini gave him a glower, to which he immediately changed his hairstyle . The duo with their banters entered into Vaani's room to check if she was all decked up.
But the duo was taken back to find the room with the hair dresser sitting in her place , while Vaani's dress for the night was hung near the wardrobe alloted.
"Vaani enga ? " Maalini asked the stylist
"Ennaya ketinga na ? Ma'am na 25 minutes ah inga wait panren yarum kanom "
Maalini was surely taken back , while Vinay couldn't control his laughter.
"Na apave sonnen , ivala nambi ivalavu expense waste ! Nane idea kudukanum nu irundhen adhuku munnadi Avale poita " Vinay's comment was enough for Maalini to lose her cool " Thodapa kata piyum
She was really wondering where Vaani went ? Malini tried calling Meera, who was with Mithra, getting ready for the function.
The tensed look on Malini's face got the attention of the entire family that they all came up to her.
Krishnan : Maalu enna achu ? En ippudi padathama iruka ?
Maalini 's voice wasn't even heard when she spelt " Vaani room la illa ! "
"Edheyy ?? Ponna kannama ? " Mithra let out her breath.
While everyone's face turned to a blank expression while Akash remained cool.
Vinodh : Vaani ah kannom nu sollranga nee enna oru reaction um kudukala ?
Akash : Vaani room la dhan illa nu sonnaga ! Inga illa nu sollalaye.
Akash's statement was enough to capture the entire family's attention, while Madhavu paati knew where the little petite figure would be.
"Ava enga iruka nu unnaku teriuma." Sapna questioned Akash.
"Enga ellam tedhuninga Maalz? " Akash fixed his gaze with his soon to be mother in law.
"Back entrance , hall uh apram ellam room and washroom kuda " worry was visible in her face.
"Dessert section poi parunga," Akash spoke in a calm tone. " Na poi ready aguren."
That's when it realised to Maalini that she hadn't looked upon the dessert sections. The entire family walked behind Malini in a hurry to find Vaani with her hair tied up to a bun with eating the third scoop of butterscotch ice cream.
