Chapter 22 : Revealed ?

The entire family was in the hall , when they saw Madhavi paati trying to move her leg front and forward with help of Vaani which indeed was a great improvement.

The glow that Akash held these days were new to the entire family , while Vinodh was the only one who knew the reason behind it.

Sapna who sat beside Akash questioned
" Tara veetuku polama , nalliku pesa? "

Hearing this Vaani had a pale face . She did not know where things are leading to . Should she be happy that Akash finally opened up on his feelings to her or should she be sad that he still hesitates to reveal it to his family.

Seeing the emotional turmoil in Vaani's face was enough for Akash to get back his courage to open up. He did not want to put her in the state again.

"Amma ! Venam " he told , which got Dev along with Madhavi paati to turn there eyes wide

For the first time they heard him saying a "No"

"Puriyala ? " Sapna tried understanding his context.

" Kalynam venam " He tried his best not to hurt anyone in the context of revealing his feelings.

" Kalynam venama illa Tara venama ? " After all she is his mother , she is ought to know what is running in his mind.

" Tara Venam " Akash replied in a bold tone which indeed was a surprise to Sapna.

"Suthi vazhaikama ! Un manasu la enna iruku nu solluriya? " Sapna asked cluelessly.

While Vaani almost had tears on her eyes , seeing how he is trying to open up about her to his family. But one thing she was sure was , he indeed wanted her in his life not temporarily but permanently.

"Vaani ah puduchuruku" Akash made his statement.

Sapna was shocked was an understatement , she couldn't process anything in her mind . While Dev , yes he did have an idea of what kept brewing between these two . Akash's happiness was his top priority but so did Sapna's smile meant to him . Dev couldn't let go of one for the other.

Madhavi paati : Mithra konjam ennaya kilu

Mithra kept blinking at this dare confession  of her brother . What indeed was a surprise moment was he directly told Sapna.

Vaani had no emotions , even though she wanted to be happy for seeing Akash finally revealing things but she couldn't seeing the smile that was on Sapna all these days fall off.

She somehow felt that she had come in between the Mother and Son duo.
"Ma ! Neenga vera ponnu kamuchurundhalum , ellatulayum Vaani ah teduven " Akash held Sapna's hand.

Sapna took her hand out of his hold and actioned him to stop . While she walked away from the place without conveying her state of mind.

"Ma ! " He shrieked but she left.

Akash looked at his dad who spoke " Akash , Sapna needs time ... porumai ah pesikalam "

Vaani ran away to the room , seeing how things fell off hand. She did not want to be a hindrance in anyone's relationship.  She did not want to start her relationship with the unhappiness of Akash's parents.

Sapna locked the door leaving others outside , while Akash kept waiting for Sapna to speak to him .

"Amma ! Pesu ma " He told as he knocked the door.

"Ennaku yarukudayum pesa venam " Sapna's voice broke.

For Sapna what kept stopping her to accept the reality , is how did her son end up falling for someone who is a definition of clumsiness. She couldn't process the fact that Akash was ready to stand up for Vaani . She feared losing the bond , she feared if he ll get distanced from her. She neither was angry with Vaani but definitely not happy with how things unraveled, it was nothing but her insecurity feeling for her son that kept her from accepting Vaani.

It was time for the lunch , when Akash , Dev and Mithra were continously knocking the door. But to there dismay they heard Sapna yelling she doesn't want to eat.

Vaani who witnessed all this from the Corner felt a prick in her heart . She soon felt a tap on her arm.

"Paati adhu " Before Vaani could speak anything , Madhavi paati held the miserable Vaani in her embrace.

Vaani broke out in tears while Madhavi paati consoled " shs ! Vaani azhadha "

She wiped her tears and enquired " Paati neenga saptingala ? Tablets ku time achu la ? "

Madhavi Paati nodded her head. While Vaani took her wheel chair and settled paati in her chamber.

Vaani returned back to see Akash sitting on the floor besides Sapna's room , waiting for her to open.

"Akash " She managed to call him.

He looked at Vaani who stood besides him and nodded his head asking her to continue.

" Amma ku time tanga , she ll be fine " She tried comforting.

"Thappu panniten ! " His face lacked any emotions.

Seeing and hearing him , she felt she was a wrong decision in his life. Without thinking twice she walked from the place , running  to her room.

She started packing her things , with her heart heavy and her eyes tearing up. She never wanted to break the love that the family held at any cost . She decided to walk out of there life , especially Akash's life.

She came out of the room dragging her trolley bags to the hall were everyone were seated.

Mithra : Vaani ka enga poringa ?

That caught Akash's attention and he looked at her standing with her bags.

"Ennala indha veetla prachana venam " Vaani struggled to speak.

"Adhuku ! Konjam porumai ah irukiya Vaani?" Madhavi paati rolled her eyes.

" Ila paati , Ellame namma nenacha padi dhan poganum nu illa la ? Kandippa inga irundhu naraya anbu edhutu poren adhe mari all good things have to come to an end la ? " She told with wiping the tears that fell on her cheeks.

Akash did not understand what made her to take such a decision without even consulting with him.

" Thappu pannitanga nu feel pannakudadhu paati ! Apa ivalavu naal irundhadhuku oru artham illama poirum " She told with her eyes fixed on Akash.

The reality struck when he remembered the words he told out of frustration . Little did he knew she took those seriously.

" Ellarukum puducha Vaani ah poganum nu nenaikuren. Inimel ennala inga endha oru misunderstanding venam " Vaani completely got shattered.

She went and hugged Paati , while Mithra did not want Vaani to leave soon .

Vaani conveyed that she has arranged another physiotherapist to take in charge from tomorrow.

Dev : Vaani onne onnu solren , please don't take decisions in a haste ! God bless you.

She nodded in understanding and walked away without sparing a glance at Akash who felt he completely lost everything that he had with the departure of Vaani.

"Madaiyan da nee ! Avala poga vituruka kudadhu " Madhavi paati chided.

"Avaluku enga irukanum tonnudho irukatum paati ! I can't control anyone and there feelings " He walked back to his chamber where he got shattered completely.

Madhavi paati decided to take a call and not leave things go haywire , since she knew Vaani was Akash's happiness and so did she bring joy in there life.
