Chapter 28: I Didn't Know You Had Company?

I woke up and looked around. How am I in my room? l reach over to get my phone and it was 4 A.M. I had a couple texts.
Jack Gilinsky at 1:37 A.M.: I had a great time with you tonight, we should do it again... But just us two!
Jake Parrish at 12:30 A.M.: Let's go to In-n-Out tomorrow?
Myles Parrish at 12:00 A.M.: Goodnight beautiful! 😌

I smile at the messages and reply.

Jack Gilinsky: Yes, we should! Just let me know when you wanna go!
Jake Parrish: Sure, I'm down.
Myles Parrish: Awe, I will FaceTime you tomorrow. 😌
And then I doze off.

I woke up to a wet sensation on my face. Guess what it was? It was Jake licking my face up getting me to wake up most likely to take him out. I get up and change into my black leggings with a gray stripe on each side that starts from the beginning to bottom of the pants, gray roshe runs, and a hoodie.

I walk downstairs and no one was home. I grab Jake's red leash and attach it to his red collar and we were on our way. I walked around our block for a while until I got a text from Jack G. "Meet me at the park by your house asap, I'll wait for you here on the bench by the soccer turf." Why would Jack want to meet up? So many thoughts flew across my mind, but I decided to go. I walked back home quickly and dropped Jake off, then I jogged my way there. I looked around until I saw a guy in a gray hoodie in Adidas soccer pants and black vans.

"Oh my god, is that Jack Gilinsky?!" I whisper freaked out to see what he'd do in a situation where a "fangirl" randomly found him. He turned around confused and then he realized it was me. "Kathy!" He says smiling as we hugged. "Hey, what's up?"
"Sammy got mad at Jack and me, but mostly me."
"Why?"
"Because I defended you yesterday and he apparently saw us walking really close to each other and hugging more than usual." He says playing with his fingers.
I sigh and look down. "So what now?"
"Fuck him, he doesn't need us. We are still friends Kathy, him over reacting isn't going to separate us." He says grabbing my shoulders while looking me in the eyes and I nod. "Thank you for being such an amazing friend. You're like a brother." I say smiling and he chuckles. "Anytime." "So why is he mad at Jack?" I ask. "Oh, 'cause he was backing me up. He left today and I think he's staying at Nash and Cameron's." "Oh, I was going to go visit Cam today but I rather not..." I trail off. "Come over to my place." Jack says and I look at him debating whether or not I should. "Just come, it'll be fun. We can play some volleyball or something in the backyard because I know you love volleyball! Then I can take you out to eat or something." "Sure, sounds goo-" My phone started ringing and I see Jake's name across my phone. Shit, I forgot I told him I'd hang out with him today, "give me a second please?" I ask Jack and he nods. "Hey Jakey!"
"Hey Kathy, I'm so sorry but I don't think I can make it tonight..."
"Why not?"
"I kinda forgot I had this family get together and my mom wants me to go, so if you want to come with, that's fine too."
I giggle, "no it's okay Jake, we can hang out some other time. Have fun with your fam today!"
"I'll try to." He laughs.
"Alright. Bye slut!"
"Bye hoe ." He says in a playful way.

I walk back to Jack. "Alright, but I have to shower..." "Take one at my house." He says calmly. "I need clothes," "we can pick them up if you want." I raise an eyebrow and then finally agree. We walked to his all black 2014 Cadillac XTS car. It was a beauty, that's a fact.

When we arrived to Jack's I dropped my bags in the living room and ran towards his yard to play volleyball. I was ready! "Hey, slow down! A boy can only run so fast!" He pleads as he jogs towards me. "Where's your volleyball?" I ask. "Oh, it's upstairs. I'll be right back." He winks as he walks off, he's funny. He had his speakers out so I plugged my phone in and the song "Trampoline" by Kalin and Myles came on. Sweet! I jump around on their trampoline as I wait. "Will you bounce that thing, like a trampoline!" I yelled as I saw Jack laughing at my actions. I giggled as I got off. "Okay, so how many points do we score?" He asks. "twenty-five?" "Sure!"

He positions himself on the opposite of the net of me. I place the ball on my left Palm and throw it up. As it slowly comes down, my right arm goes back and once it's in front on my face I smack it over the net. "Nice serve!" Jack says as he bumps the ball over. I jump and slap it over. "Woah! You're going to kill me Kathy!" Jack G says as he has both hands covering his heart and I score.

After a few minutes, I won. "Damn, you have game girl." Jack says as he hands me a water bottle. "I know." I smirk. "What's this?" I hear someone say, but it wasn't Jack or Jack. Sammy. "What are you doing here!?" Jack says angrily. "Oh, I came to visit you. I didn't know you had company though." He says calmly. "I do." He says as he gets in front of me. "Well, I should get going. Yovanna's outside in the car." Sam says smirking and Jack nods. I decided to keep my mouth closed.

"Hey I should get in the shower already." I say and he nods. I walk upstairs with my stuff, I decided to bring the best thing I could. I quickly got inside the bathroom to shower. I strip down my clothes and head in. I heard the door open and I peek through the curtain to see Jack Johnson. "Jack where are you going?" He asks. "Um..." I trail off. "Oh shit! Kathy! I didn't see you I'm sorry, I'll go." He stutters and I just giggle.

I quickly got out and changed into a loose black dress that's opened in a triangle shape on the back with a bow in the front under my bust. I wore sand colored wedges. I blow dried my hair and curled it also, I did a waterfall braid. It looked good. I was pumped for tonight, Jack said to look fancy.

I quietly walked downstairs. "Bro! Let me find you going in on her again!" I hid against the wall overhearing both Jacks. (an: if that makes sense?) "You know I like her, don't try anything!" I put my hands over my mouth in shock. "Hey, don't get jealous. It was an accident, nothing was intended. I got out of there as soon as I could." Jack J says in self defense which was true. "Hey guys!" I say as I calmly walk into the room with my two favorites.

Jack G's POV:

"Hey, don't get jealous. It was an accident, nothing was intended. I got out of there as soon as I could." Jack J says in defense. I could only believe him. My jealousy just over powers me sometimes, but I know he didn't mean to. I was just warning him. "Hey guys!" I hear a voice say. We both focus our attention on the beautiful girl who walked in the room. My jaw dropped and I look at Jack and he nudges me while nodding and smiling. He knows she looks stunning too. Katherine looked perfect! That dress and heels on her, her hair, her jewelry, her make up, everything looked astonishing... I was speechless. I'm taking her out tonight? "Jack..." Kathy chuckles. I smile, "I'm... speechless." I pause. "You look absolutely gorgeous." I say. "You don't look bad yourself either." She laughs as she sits. "You want to get going?" I ask. "Sure!" She says as she stands up. "Wait, can we take a picture. We look amazing right now. Kind of like we're going to prom." I say smiling. "Yes!"

I hand Jack my phone and walk towards Kathy. I wrap and arm around her waist as she hugs me. Then the second one was a squad picture. She looked so cute doing it. I furrow my eyebrows together trying to look serious as I point at the camera and she does the same. "Thanks bro." I say as I take my phone. "Should I upload it?" I ask. "Nah bro, later. If you upload it now, fans will try to find you." Jack says and I nod. "Let's go." I say as I put my arm out and Kathy holds onto it.
