Chapter 33: We Were Waiting for God Knows Who.

Kathy's POV:

I cannot be more happier with Jack in my life. Dammit, he's just perfect. He respects me and does anything to make me happy and satisfied. He's always there for me and protects me, but most importantly... he trusts me. I haven't felt so relieved and confident in a while. When I was dating Sam, never did I feel like I can completely open up to him because I was afraid. With Jack, it's completely different. He's the opposite of Sam. I've known Jack longer than I've known Sammy. Back then never did I think I would end up dating Jack because I felt like he was way out of my league. I guess things change.

Everyone that I've been around for the past few months have important things going on. Shawn is on tour with Taylor Swift and Kalin & Myles are on their own tour. They have quite the busy schedules. Do I miss them? Of course, more than anything. But this is for them, they have good opportunities thrown at them. You can't just say no. I'm happy for them, though.

"Hey baby." Jack says as I open the door to reveal his face. "Hey." I smile. "So what are we doing tonight?" He says following me to the living room. "I don't know, what do you wanna do?" I question. "Wanna go eat sushi?" "Sure. Let's go." I say getting up.

"What's wrong? You don't seem to be acting the same today." Jack says grabbing my hand with his two hands, concerned. "Ugh, I'm not feeling well." I say looking down. "Babe, you know you can talk to me. Spit it out." I can feel his eyes on me, so I did. "Well I haven't talked to Shawn because he's busy with this tour stuff and I miss him." "Touring can be a bitch. It can distant you from the people you love... Look, he'll be off before you know it. Trust me. I know you miss him, shit we all do. You just have to realize that this is just a while and he'll be with us soon. Cheer up baby." I smile lightly and nod. "Hey look out sushi is here." He smiles.

I lean over to kiss him goodbye. "Thank you for tonight, I really needed it." I giggle. "Anything for you, princess. Call me if you need anything else." I nod and walk into my house. "Kathy where were you?" My mom asks. "I went out to go get sushi with Jack." "Oh and you didn't bring me any?" "I'm sorry I didn't think you'd want any-" "I'm joking. Did you have fun?" "Absolutely." I smile. "Alright goodnight, sweetie. I'll see you tomorrow."  she kisses my cheek as she heads up to her room.

*Next morning*
I got up and did my regular morning routine. We were on summer break already. I open my bathroom door and look at myself in the mirror. I start to notice my imperfections, but I got interrupted. "Kathy!" I hear a familiar voice call from outside my room door. (yes, she has a bathroom in her room.)  I head out and unlock my door as Jack appears. "Hey babe." He hugs me. "Hey, come in. I was just getting ready." I smile. He sits on my bed. "Oh, what are you doing?"  "I don't know... what do you wanna do?" I ask. "Netflix and chill?" he asks. I look at him with an eyebrow raised. "What the fuck Jack, leave now please." "I'm just kidding..." he says as he pulls me back by my waist. "Do you wanna go shopping for a new outfit?" He suggests. "Um, I do need new stuff... sure." I smile. "Let's go then."

"What store do you wanna go to?" He asks as we wondered around the mall. "Maybe American Eagle, I don't know?" I question and he knows. I walked around the store looking at the clothing. "So, just grab anything that you feel comfortable and stylish in. I'll pay." He says. I was a little timid to accept his offer so I declined, "no, it's okay, Jack." "I insist Kathy." He gives me a sympathetic smile. "N-" "Kathy, please just it's okay." I didn't want to argue with him in front of all these people in the store so I just nodded. "I got you next time." I say. "You're fine babe." He says. Every time he calls me babe or baby, I get goosebumps. It's a sensation of happiness and security.

When I got home, I went straight to my room to a surprise on my bed. A suitcase? Hmm... "Mommy!!" I yell. "Yes, Kathy?" My mom replies. "What's this suitcase doing on my bed?" I ask. "Uh you should pack some stuff in there to last you the week or something..." She smiles. "Oh my goodness, not another trick please." I whine. "Hey, don't question me young lady. Get your stuff together and get ready." I gave her a confused glare but I did as ordered. I packed everything I bought today with some sleep clothes. I wonder where her and Sierra are going now. I hopped in the shower. After my shower I put on some black jeans with a maroon jersey that said 'Dallas 7' on the back... mine of course. With some white converse. I went downstairs with my packed stuff and my ready self. "So where we going?" I question Cam as he was scrolling down his twitter feed. He looked up at me and gave me a confused look. "Huh?" He asks. "Mom said that-" "Oh Kathy, you're ready! Yay. Get in the car and Cam come with." We look at each other and shrug but we do as said by the main woman in our life.

"Why are we at the airport?" I ask as we got out the truck, started walking and Cam rolled my suitcase. "Shh. No Questions, just follow me." Mom says. I'm so lost right now I don't even know what's going on or what's going to happen. Am I going alone, because no one else had their stuff packed... We stood by the United airlines check in place waiting for God knows who.

I was anxious to know who I was waiting for and to know where the hell I was going. I hope this trip goes good though. "Kathy..." I hear a familiar voice call behind me. I turn around and see Jack. I immediately hugged him and kissed his cheek. "You ready?" He asks. I turn to look at my mom and Cam who were smiling and I had a confused grin on face. "Uh-" I look down at Jack and he had his luggage so I'm now assuming we were going somewhere. "Where are we going?" I ask. "That's for me to worry about, not you." He smiles. I roll my eyes nodding. "Have a nice trip to London, sir!" The person who checked us in told Jack. I turn to him with my eyes widen. "N-. No, no you didn't... JACK WHAT THE HECK?" I scream. "Yes baby doll I did." He chuckles. "You're the best boyfriend ever!!! Oh my goodness. Thank you so much." I hug him and then peck his lips. "Anything for you princess." He kisses my forehead.

Jacks POV:

"Flight 455 to London boarding now."
I get up from where we were sitting. "Let's go."
"Let's go." She repeats smiling wider than ever. I love seeing her happy, it's rewarding especially knowing that I planned this whole trip for us. I feel like we were both in need of a good vacation. But this isn't the last surprise of the trip.
