Chapter 2: The News

Katherine's POV

Driving home I remembered how Cameron wanted to tell me something. I tried my best all day to forget about it but I just couldn't...

*bzz*

It was my phone and I got a text from Aaron. Aaron is my bests friend. Not even my best friend, he's my brother. I trust him more than anything in this world. We met at magcon when Cameron went to his first ever event. Every since then our friendship grew stronger, and it still grows stronger everyday. Even though I don't get to see him that often because he lives in Louisiana and I live in California, we still manage to see each other often. Whether it's me traveling to Louisiana or him traveling to California or both of us traveling to whatever event there is and where it's being held, such as magcon, but stuff happened and none of the boys no longer go to magcon events. Yeah, I mean they left magcon but we are still the same and strongest family. Whatever makes the boys happy, I'll support them.

K- Katherine

A- "Hey Kathy!"

K- "Hey what's up Aaron. Haven't talked to you since like what last night?"

I laughed while typing that.

A- "LOL yeah. Well anyways, when do I get to see your beautiful face again?"

I blushed while looking at my screen, luckily Cameron didn't notice.

K- "I'm not sure, I'll let you know soon. :)"

A- "alright, I can't wait any longer!! But I'm guessing soon. (:"

Cameron's POV

Before I picked up Kathy from school, Bryant, Nash, carter, and Hayes came over and we decided to FaceTime the other guys. *AN: I know that you can only FaceTime one person but just pretend you can do more okay thanks :)*

We decided to talk about this new event called Webcon. It's where a bunch of Viners and Youtubers gather together to meet our fans. This event is taking place in Miami Florida. I am super excited I mean come on Disney world! Just kidding, but I heard Miami fans are so sweet and Miami is just a really great city.

*on FaceTime with 12/12*

"Hey guys, are you excited for this event this weekend!?" I asked.

"Yep! We are going to have a blast in Miami." mahogany says.

"Yeah, I agree. Hey by any chance do you know if Kathy is going?" Aaron asked me. I smiled. They've been best friends since I could remember, Aaron is very protective over Kathy and he treats her right. "Yeah she is actually. She doesn't know though. My mom told me to take her because she was going to take Sierra on a vacation trip just the two of them before she gets" I pause. "Cameron?" "Cam?" "Are you alright?" They all asked. "Uh, yeah. Sorry I just u-uh. Well Sierra is getting married soon." I reply. "Oh my goodness! That's great news, tell her I said congratulations!" Mahogany practically yells out. "I will" I smile and the others are saying "congrats," I ignore it though. My own sister that I grew up with, who looks over me. The girl who used to force me to play house with her because she wanted to be the mom. Leaving. I tear up a little at the thought of her leaving and moving out. Nash notices me get teary and walks over to me. "Hey man, are you alright?" He says as he hugs me. "Yeah bro." I reply. "Cameron what's wrong?" I hear Gilinsky and Johnson ask in sync. "Well I'm happy my sister is getting married I mean her happiness means the world to me. But the fact that she's l-" I paused. "The fact that she's leaving just upsets me." "Bro it's okay it's not like she's leaving your life forever and you're never going to see her again, I'm pretty sure she'll pay weekly visits or hell, she might even stop by everyday. Don't stress man, think of the positive side. We're here for you cam." Taylor says. "Thanks tay. You're right." I say with a light smile. "So back to our conversation on Webcon!" Hayes says trying to break the silence. "Right okay. So I get there at eleven in the morning with Hayes and Bryant." Nash starts off our conversation on details. "I get there at nine A.M. tomorrow." Aaron says. "I get there at twelve P.M. tomorrow." Taylor says. "I get there at eight- forty five A.M. Saturday." Says Shawn. "I get there at one P.M.tomorrow." Jacob says. "We get there at five P.M. tomorrow" Johnson says referring to him and Gilinsky. "I get there with Kathy tomorrow at like ten PM." I say now more excited than ever because the thought of reuniting with my family makes me joyful. "So Kathy is going?" Aaron asked. "Yes Aaron, Kathy is going." I say smiling. He's just cheering and smiling then when he notices he was still on FaceTime with us, he burst out laughing as well do we. "Wait, but since she doesn't know don't tell her! I want to surprise her later when she gets home from school." I say as Aaron nods his head.

Katherine's POV

I wonder why he said "I'm guessing soon." Is he coming to California or something? I'm not sure.

K- "what?"

A- "nothing. I was just lightening the mood up by saying soon that way we know we will see each other. :)"

K- "oh alright, well I got to go, I'm home and Cameron needs to talk to me so I'll text ya later."

A- "alright bye beautiful. :)"

That was kind of weird. By the time I put down my phone on my lap, Cameron had pulled into the drive way and turned off the vehicle. I open the passenger seat door and walk towards the house's front door as Cam follows behind.

"So what's this thing you wanted to talk about or these news you had for me?" I asked as Cameron closed the front door and I sit down on the couch as I pet Jake. "Oh right." Cameron stood In front of me with his arms crossed. I look up and look into his eyes so he can start talking. "So mom... Okay you know what I rather tell you when mom gets here, she shouldn't take long." When he finished his sentence he didn't even hear me respond he just ran to his room. Why is he acting weird all of the sudden? I shrugged and decided to head to the backyard with Jake. We played fetch for about thirty minutes when he started to bark and when he barks he usually hears someone in front of our house, and I knew it was my mother. I run to the front and open the door to see my mother with four suitcases in hand. I ran up to her and greeted her with a kiss on the cheek. "Hey mom... What are those suitcases for?" She looked at me then at the suitcases then back at me. "Oh these are just some suitcases I had at the hotel laying around, you know? I had to bring them home." She says as she walks into our house.

"CAMERON MOM IS HERE!" I yelled so he would hear me loud enough from upstairs. He ran downstairs and sat down on a chair from the kitchen. I sat down on the chair next to him and my mom sat on the chair next to me. Cameron and my mom look at each other and smile. "So Kathy..." My mom starts off. "You're not going to school tomorrow." "NO! I am not going to the doctors tomorrow! I saw her last week I don't want to go again she got too close to me with that needle and you know how much I ha-" "you're not going to the doctors." Cameron says. "Then?" I say looking at Cameron then at my mom then back at Cameron and then back to my mom. "You're going to Miami!" I look at them dead in the face. Seriously Miami? Why? "Are we going to Disney world?" I asked. "We as in you and Cameron." Mom says. "What do you mean?" Cameron looks at me and mom. "No more indirects! Just going straight to the point. You're going to Webcon with me, Kathy." At that moment I realized why Aaron was acting weird. "But I don't have any clo-" "you're going shopping with Cameron in a bit," my mother cuts me off. "Well why aren't you coming with us?" I asked confused. She always comes with us.

Cameron POV

"Well why aren't you coming with us?" Kathy asked my mom. Oh gosh. I look at my mom worried. She just nods her head as she looks at me. Kathy doesn't know about the whole Sierra situation and I'm kind of scared on how she's going to react to the news.

"Uh sweetheart, take a seat on the sofa please." My mother says directing Kathy to the living room as I follow. "Well see, Sierra is-" "Sierra is what, mom?!" Kathy clarifies rising her voice a bit and with worried eyes. "Sierra got proposed and she's getting married soo-" "WHAT! SIERRA IS WHAT MOM? SHE CANT GET MARRIED!" She screams as my mom tries to calm her down. "Calm do-" "HOW ARE YOU GOING TO TELL ME TO CALM DOWN WHEN MY SISTER IS LEAV-" Kathy gets cut off.

"Hey!" Sierra says entering the living room with a big smile but her smile fades away when she sees Kathy with tears streaming down her face. "What's going on??" Sierra asks in total confusion. We all look at each other. Then she nods her head and ahs. "Did you guys tell her?" My mother and I nod. Sierra walks over to Kathy and sits down with her on the couch as she hugs her to great comfort after that whole scene. "It's okay Kathy, I won't stop seeing you guys. I'm moving but I won't ever leave you guys." Kathy looks up to Sierra, "Sierra I love you so much and you're the only girl who understands me. I just got caught off guard because they told me that I was going to Miami and then said that you were getting married and I ju-" "shh, it's okay. I'll always be here when you need me just give me a call and I'll be here before you know it. And I love you too, Kath." "Thank you Sierra." Kathy says as she continues to hug Sierra. They pull apart after a while and Sierra wipes Kathy's eyes because her face was literally streaming tears, a lot. "I'll always be here for all of you, please remember that, me getting married won't change our relationship. We'll still be the same supportive family we've always been, and it's going to stay that way. I love you guys." Sierra clarifies. "Aw!!" I say as we all laugh and group hug. I guess Taylor was right. I love my family and our relationship.
