Chapter 31: That's Crazy

We walk into Jack's house where Jack J and Sam are playing Fifa. I run over to Jack J and wrap my arms around him. He pauses his game and stands up to greet me properly... What a gentleman.

"Hey what the hell Kathy, you come in to interrupt our game!" Sam says, "um, I'm sorry I just came to say hey to Jack?" "Whatever, go back to Gilinsky, y'all seemed to be having some fun together recently." He scoffs. Do I see and hear a jealous Samuel Howard Wilkinson? "Alright, I will. I'm going out back to head inside the pool with him." I smirk knowing he was trying to ignore me, but I know he couldn't resist. "Oh yeah? I'm bringing over Yovanna." He says laughing. "No you're not." Jack G says as he walks into the living room. "Why not?" Sam asks. "Because if Kathy doesn't want her here, I don't want her here. I don't want her here to make Kathy feel uncomfortable." He says sipping on his cherry coke. "Alright, whatever. Does it bother you Kathy?" He asks.

Yes.

"Hmm..." he says waiting for an answer.

"No... Not at all." I smile.

"I'm calling her over." He says smiling.

"No." Gilinsky says.

"You said I couldn't because Kathy felt bothered in a way... She doesn't so is that okay?"

Jack looks at me and I nod. "Eh, alright... I guess," Gilinsky says as he wraps his arms around my waist and we head to the backyard.

"I think he's just doing that to get you jealous. He likes to instigate." "I know, Jack. I know how he is, I know the real Sammy Wilk." I say sarcastically. "Alright..."

"Hey guys." Yovanna says with a smile.

"Hey." I smile back, obviously I wasn't trying to be rude.

"What are y'all doing today?" Sammy asks.

"I don't know, swim a bit... maybe go out to grab a bite." Jack says shrugging and I nod.

"Let's go on a double date?" Sam suggests.

"I mean it's not just me and Kathy. It's us and Jack, I don't want to leave him out. " Jack G says.

"Why don't we set Jack up on a date?"

"He doesn't do blind dates Sam, you know this." Jack says as he jumps into the pool.

"Yeah, but what if she's like really cute for him. I don't know."

"Yeah, I cannot trust you to set my brother up with a girl." Jack chuckles, which made me chuckle because Sammy thinks everything will just go how he wants. Which it most likely won't and he'll blame us.

"Come on G! I think it's time for him to get a girl." Sam says.

"No, Sammy. He'll get into a relationship when he's ready to. If he's not dating or seeing anyone right now, do you think he's ready? No. He's waiting for the right one. I will not pressure him into getting himself into a relationship he's not ready for." Jack says. I did agree though, if someone isn't interested in someone, don't pressure that person into something they don't want.

"Okay, fine. But he's going to feel like a fifth wheel (an: I think he'd be considered a fifth wheel?) I'm just saying." Sam says shrugging. "By the way, if he was going with just you two, he'd be a third wheel and feel lonely anyway."

"But you're the one implying that he'd feel lonely, I don't know but Jack feels comfortable with us two whether we're dating or not because we include him in anything that we do. We do not put him aside and let him watch us do what we do... Jack has been my friend for as long as I can remember, I'm not going to exclude him in whatever I do... what kind of girlfriend would I be if isolated my boyfriend from his best friend?" I say.
