When the girl said her name was Elsa, Hiccup's mine sent him back to his childhood for a brief moment.
[In Hiccup's Mind]
"Do we have to leave Mama?" Asked a little girl with raven black hair. "I'm afraid so dear, Chief Stoik doesn't want your father here anymore and we must go with him." Said the taller female. The girl was saddened by this and ran to hug her best friends. "I'll miss you Fishlegs, and I'll miss you most of all Hiccup." She said as she gave him a small kiss to the cheek.
[Back In Reality]
"Hey uh your last name wouldn't happen to be Santios, would it?" Asked Hiccup. "Uh, yeah, how'd you know that?" Asked Elsa as she was a little freaked out. "Elsa, it's me Hiccup Horrendous Haddock lll." He said as they got outside to where the moon illuminated both of them. She took a bit before gasping in shock. "Hiccup, it ... it is you, I can't believe it, I haven't seen you since we were 7." She said smiling as she hugged him. Hiccup was taken aback at first before hugging back. "I missed you." She said smiling. "I missed you to, but what happened to you, your hair and your skin are different, and what's with the winter gear?" He asked confusedly as she looked like a new person. "I don't really remember, one minute I'm asleep in my room, everything was perfectly normal, then I woke up down there with no idea where I was or what was happening to my body." She said calmly as she now could look at her ghostly pale skin without straining her eyes.
As Hiccup looked at her he couldn't help but think that she looked beautiful. "Hey, Hiccup, Hiccup, HICCUP.!" Called Elsa as she'd stopped looking at her changes. "Huh, what, what happened?" Asked Hiccup. "You we're zoned out." Said Elsa. "Sorry, I was just thinking about something." He said chuckling to himself. "Always the thinker aren't you, I take it you built that nifty little device clipped to your leg?" She asked having noticed the fire sword. "Oh uh yeah actually I did." He said smiling as he demonstrated it but as soon as the flame on the sword ignited itself she jumped back in a fright. Seeing this Hiccup dropped the sword which sniffed it out. "Hey are you alright?" He asked worriedly. "I ... I don't know, I've seen fire before and wasn't scared but for some reason when you ignited that blade my mind was telling me to get to cooler areas." She said confusedly. "Okay, until we can figure out what's wrong I won't ignite my blade unless absolutely necessary." He said as he put it back onto his leg. "Thanks Hiccup, so how did you get here, this island isn't near Berk." Said Elsa.
Hiccup then realized she missed out on his whole save the dragons phase. "You're going to love this." He said smiling as he offered his hand to her which she gladly took. Hiccup began leading her to the campsite while explaining everything that had happened over the last 13 years. Hearing about how he lost his leg to a dragon and how his dragon was King of all dragons was a big shock to Elsa but still not as big as the fact he was now friends with Astrid and the others seeing as they were his bullies growing up. "That's a lot to take in." Said Elsa as she wasn't sure she believed it. However that doubt came to an end once they arrived at the campsite where Elsa saw none other than Snotlout and Tuffnut. "Wait I thought you said Astrid, Fishlegs, and that one's twin were here, and I only see two dragons." Said Elsa. "I told them to stay here." He said annoyed. "Great, which means they went off in search of me even though I told them I would be fine."
