Meet Desdemona! She's a Giant River Otter.
About who she is. Well...it gets a bit tricky. She was a Nightmare. Key word: was. She learned about the human world from books and wanted to go live amongst humans,so she decided to do so. Unfortunately for her,Nightmare had other ideas. If she wanted to live amongst humans, he was gonna make doing so hell.
So,he cursed her. Even though she can hide other parts of her nightmarish appearance,she can't hide her teeth or Claws. (Hence the mask and gloves.)
Rosie took her in after seeing her wandering the streets, not knowing Desdemona was a former nightmare.
It's only a matter of time until someone finds out."
