jeongguk's steps were bouncy and light as he made his way around the campus with his allocated camera in hand, staying alert for anything that caught his eye that he could document.
he was ecstatic when he heard that he was assigned to the documentation group for his art project. photography was one of jeongguk's favoured pastimes, as well as something he excelled at greatly, always managing to snap such prepossessing shots, even when he wasn't trying.
then again, the young man was an ace at everything he did. it didn't sound totally unreasonable to say that talent was handwritten into his genetics.
jeongguk snapped a few shots of random birds and plants he saw whilst wandering the university grounds. as he paused to review the photos he captured, his ears perked up abruptly at a familiar voice that echoed ever so softly through the campus hallways.
"you're so cute." the voice cooed, followed by a faint gasp.
jeongguk's feet drew him closer in towards the voice he was so sure he had heard before. rounding a corner, he saw a fascinated cora kneeling on the concrete floor near one of the blossoming garden beds.
"look at you." she sounded as if she was talking to a baby.
the boy tried taking a closer look from afar, not wanting to intrude on the entranced girl's endearing moment.
from what he could see, a little squirrel was munching on a leaf it was holding in its tiny paws right in front of her. cora, jeongguk's presence still unbeknownst to her, had raised her camera and clicked a shot of the furry critter.
after doing so, the girl continued to coo and compliment the squirrel, whose cheeks were now rounder than ever. jeongguk couldn't forget that moment. so to eternalise it, he quickly raised his camera and seized the moment.
the click from his camera alerted cora, making her whip her head in the direction of the sudden noise.
"you stalker!" she shrieked, making the squirrel scurry away with haste, "you scared the crap out of me! i thought some random was taking pictures of me."
jeongguk chuckled at cora's reaction as he approached her kneeling figure.
"you made me scare it away." she frowned, looking up at jeongguk.
