"what's your favourite movie?"

the young duo were now sat under one of the campus' shady oak trees, gossiping and prating on about whatever came to their minds, quite the contrary to the small argument they had earlier.

although they may have ignored each other for the first part of the day, the two always knew they would eventually find some sort of exit out of the situation, even if that was through a very unserious dispute.

"hmm..." cora thought hard, scavenging through the many memories of movies and films she has seen, "only one movie?"

"or a saga, doesn't matter." jeongguk made a quick exception, resting his back against the base of the large tree.

"ok then." she smiled, adjusting her back against the rough bark as well, "hunger games, harry potter, divergent, and five feet apart."

jeongguk listened diligently and nodded as cora listed her top movies, eventually snorting at her last out-of-place answer.

"five feet apart?" he asked, turning his head to cora only to meet her goaded stare already on him.

"what? what's wrong with my answer?" she questioned him, crossing her arms sullenly over her chest, just beneath where her camera rested.

"nothing's wrong with it!" he assured her as he rested a palm onto the soft grass beneath them, allowing him to look at cora properly, "i just find it kinda funny. all of the other movies you said were either fantasy or dystopian and... then five feet apart came out of nowhere."

"i mean i guess so." cora agreed reluctantly, resting the opposite palm to jeongguk's on the grass as well, still looking at him slightly annoyed, "you have to admit though, it's a good movie. a sad story, but a good movie."

"mmm, you have to jog my memory." jeongguk answered after trying to recall the events of the film, "i only saw it once, and that's when it first came out."

"okie dokie." cora said quietly, scooting the tiniest bit closer to the boy so he would be able to hear her clearly.

she didn't know it, but jeongguk knew damn well what that little movement did to him. the way she scooted not even an inch closer was enough for his heart to begin pumping faster and quicker.
