Roxy's photoshoot dress in the pic above^-^
Chapter-7
-Roxy
Flash. Another camera takes my picture. Flash. Flash. More and more come as the paparazzi surround us. "Roxy! Over here!"
"Roxy, here!"
"Roxy, what happened with your father?!"
"Roxy, has your relationship with Seth progressed after the accident with your father?!"
Their shouting and questions make my head pound on the inside. Fame may seem great, but it comes with a price. Kiss privacy goodbye, and consider the truth a lie.
Its been two weeks since Daddy Dearest showed up. Most of our bruises amongst other wounds have healed. Whatever hasn't, we do our best to cover with make up. Which is lucky for us, considering we're on our way to a photoshoot.
We rush into the building and the paparazzi is stopped outside. "Thank God, those pricks don't know how to leave a person alone." Shrugging my leather jacket off, we step in the elevator as it lifts us to the floor where we're shooting at.
The doors open and the coordinator, David, stands in the doorway. "Ladies! How lovely to see you! Come, come," he motions us inside. "We must get you all in hair and make up, ASAP!" David claps his hands and we're rushed in by the stylists.
We sit in the make up chair for what seems like hours before they finish our faces.
"I invited Dakota, is that okay?" Jess looks over at me.
"I guess, as long as he's not such a huge distraction for you," I wink and my make up artist hisses for me to stop moving. "Sorry," I mumble and sit still.
My naturally wavy hair falls in long, elegant curls down my back. On my face they put a light amount of make up on, but enough to cover any bruises, with light foundation and blush. My eyeshadow shines, sparkling a bright silver, dark eyeliner that makes my eyes pop, and mascara that lengthen my eyelashes. Last off is bright red lipstick on my lips and then my make up is complete.
I change in my change room into my dress. Its black, long, with a slit going high up to my hip and revealing my legs from mid thigh and down. Its strapless, tight, fitting every curve of my body perfectly.
I slip on my heels, they add about 5 inches to my height. Carefully, I walk out to join the others. They all have on a short halter top cocktail, black dress. They all have their hair in elegant curls and pulled into a high pony tail. Their all so gorgeous.
"Stunning, absolutely stunning." I recognize Dakota's voice, standing over in the corner.
"I'd do any of you, any day. In fact, any takers?" Turning, I see Seth is with Dakota as well. Ugh who invited you? I thought silently.
Looking back at the girls, I do a double take of their outfits. "I wish we all were wearing the same thing. This dress makes me feel weird." I look down at it once more. I feel like I have to suck in everything, its so tight.
"Ladies! All so gorgeous!" David's loud outburst causes me to jump. "The camera's are ready." He leads us to the set design for the photo shoot and we all take our places in front of the camera. "Mikey here is our photographer. He does an excellent job!"
"Hello ladies." Mikey approaches us and looks us over. He turns each of us so we're standing in a certain position. "Okay everyone, get in your places!" He looks us over and begins taking pictures, telling us what poses to do and what faces to make. "Smile." We do as commanded and he snaps the photo. "Give me a tough girls look." That's something we're very good at. "Excellent! Now give me, sexy!"
