Chapter-4

-Roxy

Tonight was the last concert of our tour, thank God it was over. I haven't been so exaughsted before in my life.

Its been a few days since my little accident at the concert, but its still blowing up the headlines. Along with mine and Seth's faces together. Bleh.

Honestly, I'm just glad to be back at the penthouse suite I stay in along with Jess. Its huge, 2 stories and everything. Bigger than a normal house.

Crystal and Lizzy stay in the one below us, and sadly Seth and his band stays in the one above us. All is merry in the hell hotel.

"Hey Roxy, check this out!" Jess calls from at the bottom of the stairs.

"What?"

She quickly makes her way up the spiral stair case, her phone practically glued to her face. "Our single just made #1 on the charts!"

"Seriously??" Snatching her phone, I look for myself. She's not kidding, it really is #1.

"Last time I checked we were like #35. I think this publicity with Seth is really paying off. And look, their #2!" She's practically bouncing with excitement.

"We beat them!"

"Hell yeah we did! Come on, lets get the girls and go celebrate."

"Let me change and I'll meet you guys in the lobby." I hurry to my room and change into skinny jeans and a belly shirt. Typically, going in public we try our best to look good, we almost always get our pictures taken and see them on the news and magazines. We always wear either skin tight clothes, short clothes, etc. Although their not my favorite, I still wear them.

Grabbing my tight fitting leather jacket, I hurry down the stairs and shove on my shoes. I meet up with the rest of the girls in the lobby and they look up at me. "So where are we going?"

"How about somewhere fancy?" Lizzy suggests.

"How about not? We should go to a normal place to eat like normal people, we never get to do that anymore," suggests Crystal. "Oh! We should get Chinese!" Everyone nods in agreement.

"Chinese it is." I walk out with the rest of them and we head down to the Chinese resturaunt around the corner.

We're seated quickly, and we order. The dinner is mostly silent, full of small talk, something I'm not a fan of. Thankfully, its cut short when the foor arrives.

"So, Roxy, what's it like to date Mr. Bad Boy?" Lizzy grins slyly and I practically choke on my food.

"Pretty annoying actually." Not only is he annoying, so is the paparazzi and publicity. But that's the life of fame.

But what people only see is the small things, they never really see what's behind the scenes of what's really going on in our lives. They only see what they wan't to see.

"Have you kissed him?" Crystal nudges me with her elbow.

"Nope, and I don't plan to. I made it clear its just publicity and nothing will happen between us."

"Mhmm. Sure. We'll see about that," Jess winks.

"Why is everyone picking on me about boys?" I'm the oldest and somehow the most picked on. I turn to Jess. "You know who you'd be cute with? Seth's friend, their drummer. What's his name?..Dakota! That's right. You guys would be great."

Jess rolls her eyes. "The chance of that happening is as small as the chance of you liking Seth."

"We'll see."

----------------

We all basically went our seperate ways, Crystal and Lizzy wen't to their suite and me and Jess are getting our mail at the front desk.

"So if you were standed on an island and had nothing else to eat, and had to choose between eating your hand or your foot, which would you choose?" Jess follows me to the elevator. We step in and push the button to our floor.

"Why can't I eat neither?"

"Because you have nothing else to eat." The elevator stops and the doors open on our floor. I follow her out, going through the mail.

"I'd rather starve."

"Your no fun, just choose one." Jess looks over at the mail as well.

"I'd choose my hand," Seth's voice catches my attention and I stop to look up at him. He's leaning against the door of our suite.

"What are you doing here?" Although most girls would say I'm crazy, I'm complaining he's here.

"Inviting you guys to a party." He shrugs. "Come, don't come. I don't really care."

"Pass." I move past him, along with Jess.

"Hey Rox, what's that?" Jess points at one of the envelopes in my hand. I hadn't even noticed it.

Upstate Correctional Facility

The words are printed dully on the front of it. Its the maximum security prison my father is in.

Shoving the rest of the mail in Jess' hands, I tear open the envelope. I read the words across the letter. My eyes seem to focus on a few main words. Father. Released. Be careful.
