Chapter 18

8 months later..

Finally, I'm able to breathe. To relax and live. Its taken months to overcome what's happened, and although I'm not completely moved past it, I'm better.

The past hasn't come back to haunt me for nearly the first time in my life. I would say things have gone back to normal, but everything is different.

My band's under new management, we're changing things up, and coming out with a lot of new stuff.

When I was getting over what happened to me, I turned to music. We wrote a whole new album that just took off and reaching the top of the charts already. Its not sappy, its hard and fierce and I love every bit of it.

Now the band's scheduled to go on tour for a month, and we leave in a few days.

I've gotten so far these past few months, and I couldn't have done it without Seth. After seeing proof that he never cheated, we moved on from the incident and have been better than ever. Him and Dakota are even coming on tour with us, neither of the boys could go a month without us.

What happened to me changed me forever, but I've risen so far from where I was. It still haunts my nightmares sometimes but for the most part, I've overcome. I still get scared, swarmed by a lot of people and when fans get close. But I've been working on it a lot and hopefully I can get through this tour smooth sailing.

Knock, knock.

"Are you almost done packing?" Seth peeks his head in my door and I nod.

"Are you?" I smile and watch as he plops down on my bed.

"All ready to go." He smiles and flips through the TV channels. "How does dinner sound tonight?"

"Sounds good to me. Where at?"

"I have reservations at a place. Its a surprise though," he smiles. "Wear something nice," he winks and hops up off the bed. His hands tug at the belt loop on my jeans and he pulls me against him. "Pick you up at 8." He smiles and kisses me before leaving.

"Don't be late," I smile and call after him.

"Kinda hard to be when I'm right upstairs," he calls back and I giggle.

I finish off packing for tour and grab a dress from the closet. I shower up and get ready for another date, one of many we've been going on lately.

"Roxy, how are you coping lately??"

Flash.

"Roxy, has what happened to you affected yor relationship with Seth?"

Flash.

"Roxy, over here!"

Flash.

A swarm of press crowds us as soon as we step out of the hotel. All at once they crowd us and bright camera lights practically blind me.

I feel as if I'm suffocating, like everyone's closing in on me and I can't breathe. A pang of panic surges through me and my head starts to spin.
