Inspired by the beautiful words and insight from High School English Teacher and Mary Shelley Herself (Author of "Frankenstein").
IPhone or computer, toaster or refridgerator, whoosit or whatsit, train or plane, skyscraper or villa.
As Mary Shelley put it:
"Invention, it must be humbly admitted, does not consist in creating out of void, but out of chaos..."
The ambition, the cunningness, and the determination of Victor Frankenstein, aimed on the ideas of reversing death through galvanism, ensue the creature's creation.
ideals of religion and science, how God created the universe from nothing, while the universe developed through a chaos of particle collisions in space.
Based off of the essence of something that is alive or existing.
idea, upon idea, upon idea.
This world, this dimension, this generation,
non-existent devoid of change, revolution, and creativity.
a blank page.
Filled. Not with words or shapes, but void and unwavering stagnance.
a canvas, untouched by the tip of the paint brush, or the streaking of chemical paste.
a white t-shirt, with no permanent stain or factored design.
a newborn, infant.
Unbeknownst to the traumas and adversities of the world it was born into.
Safe from the dangers of gun, mouth or pen.
Yet it is that first shape, that first stroke of paint, that first design.
The infant is the chance to birth a new story.
Nothing ever duplicated, nothing ever recycled.
A new story.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read and for listening :) It truly means a lot to me :)
I would love to hear your thoughts, feelings and feedback :)
