When you reached his room you knocked on the metal door, quickly after the frame slid open and there stood Lucio looking excited to see you. He moved out the way so you could walk in the room, and you did. When you were taking in your surroundings you noticed the variety of food, snacks, and desserts sitting at the edge of the bed. You froze. Lucio noticed and went over to show you what he picked out. He held up a box of pizza and opened it "Look! Hawaiian, the same kind we used to order all the time when we were cadets! Or, oh oh!" He picked up a bag of popcorn in one hand and candy in the other "Your favorite, right?". It was in fact your favorite snacks he was holding. He remembered. Under different circumstances you would've kissed him right then and there but, your little "diet" held you back. You didn't know what to say or do really. Lucio panicked a little at your lack of response, and looked down. "It's just.. I haven't seen you eat much around the base and I wanted to surprise you with something you liked. Or do you not like these anymore?" he looked at the snack he bought you, then back up to meet your gaze. "They are my favorites! I've just been on a.. diet." you said looking away from him awkwardkly. "Y/N. Did you think I wouldn't notice? You barely eat anything anymore unless I ask you! Not only that you've lost so much weight you can barley keep yourself up in battle!" he said frustratedly. You felt tears prick your eyes at his confrontation, he was right of course, but you didn't expect him to bring it up at all tonight. Again, words wouldn't form, instead tiny tears left your eyes. Embarrassed you turned away so he couldn't see your face, you tried wiping the wetness away but it was too late because your sniffles told Lucio everything he needed to know. You heard him stand up and walk closer to you. You felt his muscular hand reach around you and pull you into a hug. Now you weren't trying to hide it, you started bawling in his shoulder, he rubbed your back in hopes of comfort. "I'm sorry. I just love you so much it hurts to see you like this." you heard him say quietly. You pulled back to look at his face "You... love me?" you asked. "Well, yea. You're one of my best friends." he replied and started twindling his fingers. "Oh." he only saw you as a friend, of course. He saw the sadness in your face and quickly cupped your face and brought it to his. It took you a second to process that you two were.. kissing!? It lasted a good 5 seconds before you brought your hands to his which were still resting on your cheeks.

You looked at him to make sure everything was real. It was. "I've loved you and your body before your "diet". You're so perfect." he said and moved his fingers a little so he could kiss the tears on your face. You looked away shyly "I love you too." you said then looked over to the tv "We should start watching the show" you moved out of his arms to open the bag of popcorn and put some in your mouth to show you were ready. He smiled ear to ear and leapt towards the bed, bringing you down with him.

Phew finally done i hope the ending was somewhat enjoyable for the people who wanted it :,)
