What is this bright light?

I felt like I was walking for hours, my feet were slowly giving up yet I kept going

"yungi japkki" I turn to the sound of the voice

*"Yoongi catch"

He smiled brightly at me as he tossed the ball at me, I was about to catch it, however the ball went through me

My eyebrows raised as I heard my voice. I turned around to see my younger self

*What is this?

My eyes followed 16 year old Yoongi as he laughed and played with his brother. Both of them were dripped in sweat as they played for hours

The bright light switched to darkness and then the flames of fire appeared and rushed towards me

*"Yoongi wake up!"

My body jolted up, I looked around and realized I was still in the caged room

*"You passed out, you scared me" 

"Taehyung?" I gulped my sore throat 

I haven't spoke since India

Kim Taehyung, my childhood friend from Daegu which I haven't seen since high school which was seven years ago

"Fire" I only said

*"The fire that destroyed Daegu, I thought I was the only one who survived but you did too, I'm so happy"

Tae was also brought here and treated the same as me

His skin was filled with scars and stripes as well as burn marks

Yet his smile was wider than the sea. Was he really happy?

This was supposedly a hospital after all

*"Yoongi we need to get out of here" 

We managed to find a door on the far end of the room and tried to break it open

"dwaettta!" Taehyung exclaimed

*"It worked!" 

I put my finger on my lip to warn him to be quiet

We entered another room which looked exactly like the one before. Quickly we hid behind a pile of boxes as a masked person was also in the room

"Uh oh" I turned around to see that Taehyung had bumped into a box which made it fell

The box opened and scattered everything it had inside which were metal objects. I looked up and saw that the masked person was walking to our direction

We had to choice but to make a run for it, we ran separate directions. While running Tae fell down so I ran back to him

I tried to lift him up but I wasn't strong enough. I felt a touch on my shoulder and a coldness emerged through my body

"Yoongi" Tae's voice shivered

I slowly turned around and I was right

In his hand was a needle. As I was about to get up the masked person was thrown to the ground

The person turned to us with the wood in his hand then dropped it

"Who are you?" Tae asked

"Seokjin, Kim Seokjin"
