Chapter 6 - Hello Gotham Academy Part 1

Batman was going over the footage Tim managed to save from last night's massacre. The boys were all ready to leave for school but were being made late by Damian, surprisingly enough. He had a pout on his face although only Alfred and maybe Bruce could tell as his face was almost always rather stoic.

"I just need one minute, I forgot to say goodbye to father," Damian announced to Alfred as he descended the stairs and headed towards the Batcave's secret elevator.

"Oh! I almost forgot, I need to ask him if the computer has finished running the identification software on that vigilante," Dick said as he followed Damian. Naturally, Tim and Jason were also interested in who had been able to not only best Dick in a fight but knock him out cold, a feat Batman himself might not be able to do, and followed after him.

"Why haven't you all left for school yet?" Bruce asked as his four sons approached the computer he was sitting at.

"We wanted to know about-" Jason started.

"About the meta's identity. I know," Bruce interrupted. "The quality of the cameras is too poor, we could barely make out what he was doing let alone enough details to identify him,"

"So we've got nothing? Again?" Jason argued. "Why can't we find this guy?"

"Maybe it would help to retrace your steps?" Alfred spoke up startling all five of them, "What were you looking for when he first appeared?" Tim asked Bruce.

"That girl Jason saw get abducted by Xenon," Tim answered.

"But there's no way she could be this vigilante, you've seen what he can do. The men that abducted her were nothing compared to the dozens of trained soldiers he took down, with ease, last night," Jason countered.

"I agree," Dick voiced as he placed a hand on Jason's shoulder.

"You're only saying that because you don't want to admit to being beaten by a girl..." Damian said under his breath but apparently not quietly enough as Dick glared in his direction.

"We'll discuss this further once you get back from school, but good idea boys, I think it's worth a shot to try and find this girl regardless," Bruce said as Alfred exited the Batcave while tapping his watch. "Xenon abducted her for a reason, and I want to know why..."

Alyna wakes up with a start as Maggie loudly knocks on her bedroom door in a successful attempt to wake her up.

"Come on, sleepy head! The meeting starts in an hour, and you've got to get dressed and eat the oh-so-delicious breakfast I made!" Maggie said as she tried to open the door only for Alyna to realize she not only forgot to unlock it but to clean up her suit last night. Instead, she passed out immediately after climbing through her window and landing on her bed. "It's the most important meal...Alyna are you okay? Why is your door locked?"

"I'm up!" Alyna panicked, "Sorry, I'll be out for breakfast in a minute. And it's locked cause...I'm about to hop in the shower!"

"Okay, I made french toast so hurry up before it gets too cold!" Maggie started before walking back to the kitchen while mumbling deep in thought. "Although I suppose that's what microwaves are for..."

Alyna quickly hurried to take her suit off, jump in the shower and strip her bed sheets as they were now covered in dried blood. After showering, Alyna filled the tub with some cold water to hopefully get the blood out of both her sheets and her suit. She planned on scrubbing them and then hanging them to dry on the fire escape once she got back from Gotham Academy.
