Sett's POV

Four times. Four times the same thug challenged me for my position. I didn't mind proving the reason why I am the boss, and they're the thugs but it makes me wonder how he heals his wounds. I give them a proper beating and yet he comes back like he didn't suffer any of the beatings I gave. I sighed as I finished counting the gold and removed my coat to do some stretching. I went out of the room only to have been attacked with a large blade. I moved my head but my side got caught. I groaned and gritted my teeth and grabbed the sword before pulling it towards me along with its wielder and punched him right on the face with a grunt. He lost his grip on the sword and flew to the wall. I dropped the blade and walked to him. "Back for more?" He coughed out blood but his previous wounds are healed. I haven't heard of any healer that healed thugs, not to mention that this bastard doesn't have any money left. What healer heals without getting paid? "If you hadn't moved your head, then I would've succeeded." I scoffed, "Well, you didn't. Now I got a few questions for you, pal." I grabbed his collar, "And you're going to answer them." I dragged him to a room and dropped him. "Where do you get your wounds healed?" He chuckled sitting up, "And give away the privilege and advantage over you?" I frowned and wiped off the blood dripping from my wound. "You hardly have any advantage over me." He frowned, "Well, even if I do say it, I doubt you'd find her." I smirked, "Really? Try me." He scoffed and shook his head, "There's no specific place, but her name's Crystal. Good luck finding her." I scoffed and wore my coat. A knock on my door caught my attention and the door opened revealing a guard. "Perfect timing. Take this one. Lock him up." I then grabbed the pouch and hid it before leaving, heading out.

I went into the village and there weren't much people outside considering that it was late which made my life easier. I sniffed the air, trying to catch the scent of the thug and trace it to wherever he's been. If he's been there for four days straight, then he'd leave some sort of scent, right? Once I caught it, I followed it and it led to the forest. "What person lives in a forest?" I continued further where it led me but water splashing caught my attention and lured me in. I saw a lake and there a woman stood in the water. I frowned and called her attention, "Hey!" She covered herself and turned to me before sinking her body in the water, "May I help you?" I was about to speak when the fireflies started flying around all of a sudden, "Y-you're vastaya too!" Too? I then noticed her ears and she was indeed like me. What are the odds that she knows Crystal? I nodded, "Are you familiar with the healer around here named Crystal?" She raised an eyebrow, "I'm Crystal." Well what do you know? "Get out of the water, I'd like to talk." She nodded and I turned so she could get dressed. She didn't take long to pass by me, "Let's talk in my cabin." I followed her and tried not to intimidate her. We got in and she brewed some tea, "Take a seat. What did you want to talk about?" She offered some biscuits and sat across me. I kinda had the idea that she poisoned them so I didn't eat it right away. "Is it true that you just heal people that come to your door?" She sighed, "Yes, not that many people come since I live in the woods. Most people don't go to the woods. Too many rumors about people not coming back." Wait, "So you live alone?" She stood up and went back to her kitchen to pour some tea. "Well, yes. The beauty of the forest is enough to keep me company, especially the spirits." There were spirits? "So you can see them?" Her expression was curious and her eyes were a little wide, "You can't? I thought vastayans could naturally see spirits." I crossed my arms, "I'm only half." Her ears perked up, "Regardless, still vastaya. Even some humans can see them. Maybe because you yourself isn't in.. high spirits." My eyes widened, realizing that she made a joke and her expression was obviously regretting the choice of words. "Have people judged you for being a half-breed?" If she only knew. "Well, guess what - I am too."

That made me snap my head back to her, my eyes wide. She knows.. she knows what it's like. She told me about her parents and how they died and how she was left here in the woods. "Enough about that... what did you really want from a healer like me?" I felt a stinging pain in my wound as if someone had poked it. Might as well ask her to heal it. I took a biscuit and ate it as a sign of truce. "The bastard that keeps challenging me returns as if he never received any of the beatings I gave. Once I was fed up, I decided to lock him up and interrogate him. Not many healers heal like you do." She shrugged, "So what exactly do you want me to do?" I stood up, "Just wanted to see what you can do. Can you heal this?" I removed my coat, revealing the wound. She examined my wound, her hand lightly hovering over it. Barely touching it. "Alright. Let me clean that first." I hung my coat on the chair and she returned with a damp towel. I sat down and she stood beside me, "Hold still." What she thinks I can't handle a little pain? I felt a burning sensation which caught me off guard, making me grab onto the table. "Alright, alright." She let me get accustomed to the pain before wiping the entire cloth on the wound. "Did he use a Noxian sword?" I frowned, how would a healer that doesn't question where her patients' wounds come from know about that? "How could you tell?" She placed the cloth down and rubbed her hands. "The size of your wound." She then placed a hand on my wound. How is that going to heal me? Then her hand glowed. "You're a healer and you know weapons?" She then started telling me how she knew weapons and how she became a healer. She removed her hand and stepped back, "There you go." I inspected where the wound was and stretched, trying to feel if there would be any trace that I was wounded. Like I never had it. Not ever a scar. Not bad. Not bad at all. She giggled and I turned to her, "What?" She had a smile plastered on her pretty little face, "Nothing."
