Chapter Four: The Badboy Awakens

The hustle and bustle of the train station was the same no matter where Sento was, whether in Shibuya or back in his hometown, as some things never really changed. Living in a new city and having to worry about rumors surrounding him wherever he goes in Shujin, he would just keep an emotionless face as he hid the pain of hearing rumor after rumor in the halls and even in the classroom, where he and Ren sat rows apart, as their classmates just ignored them if they needed help or would grumble about working with them.

After a boring and hellish day, Sento exited the classroom, where he noticed Ren was being talked to by Ms. Kawakami, as she told him and even Sento, to stay away from Sakamoto, and the said boy entered the hallway, gaining the attention of the two transfers and their homeroom teacher.

Ms. Kawakami: What do you want?

Sakamoto: Shut up, it's nothing.

Ms. Kawakami: You were supposed to dye your hair back to black.

Sakamoto: Sorry 'bout that.

He apologized to her before he turned to leave, but he whispered something to both Ren and Sento as he was walking away.

Sakamoto: I'll be waiting on the rooftop.

Ms. Kawakami: See? Don't get involved with him.

Ren glanced backwards to where Sakamoto walked to as he and Sento arrived back at the rooftops, as Sakamoto began to talk while handing a can of soda to Ren and Sento.

Sakamoto: Rumors about you two are already all over the school. I bet Kamoshida is behind it. Same thing happened to me. Kamoshida has already marked you two. So I've been thinking...

Ren: About that castle?

Sakamoto: Yeah. I'm not sure what it's about, but I got a feeling there's a secret in the castle we can use to bust Kamoshida.

Sento: Did you already forget about yesterday? That place is too dangerous for us to go back.

Sakamoto: Yeah, I was seriously almost killed. I don't wanna go back there myself. But... There's no other way. If I do nothing, it'll be over for me. So I'd rather take a chance, then...

Ren: Okay. Let's go.

Sento: Sure, I'll help out too.

Sakamoto: For real?

He said in surprise as the two boys he just met the other day agreed with his plan to head back to the mysterious castle as Ren pulled out his phone, showing the strange app with the eyeball on it.

Sakamoto: What is this?

Ren: Metaverse Navigator.

Ren answered before the three, exited the building and walked to the nearby alley they reappeared in as Sakamoto read what the mysterious app's functions were.

Sakamoto: "Kamoshida, Shujin Academy, Castle." Seriously? Man, it's right there in the history.

Ren: I don't know what this navigation app is.

Sento: And don't ask me. The app stays on the phone no matter if I tried to delete it off my phone.

Ren: And there's no guarantee of success... We're going. You?

Sakamoto: Wouldn't miss it for the world.

He replied before he pressed the navigate button under Kamoshida's location and before long, the three were brought back in front of the mysterious castle from the other day. But when they reentered the place, both Ren and Sento were now wearing their mysterious thief outfits they received the other day and awakening a hidden power.
