"Can I shoot your crossbow?" Iza asks stepping over a tree stump.
"No," Daryl growls under his breath while walking behind her.
"Can I have one of your knives?" She asks with a frown looking at him.
He stops and looks at her before shaking his head. "Fuck no. Keep walking," he says moving his chin forward.
It's quiet for a while until Iza lets out a sigh. "Are we gonna practice on a Thing?" She asks looking at him again.
"Do you always have so many questions?" He ask with a frown.
"Are you always so grumpy?" She asks stopping as he walks past her.
He looks at her before nodding. "I got an adhd kid at six in the morning," he mumbles.
"I don't got adhd. Mom says...said that I'm just a happy kid," Iza shrugs until she bumps into Daryl and he turns to her with a sigh.
She smiles until he points at something on the ground. "Those are tracks of a deer," he explains as they squad by it.
At camp, James sits by a fire and looks at his best friend reading a school book. "You can put that away. We don't need to learn for the exams anymore," he smiles getting up.
Lori looks at Shane with a frown, clearly asking him to stop his son from tormenting hers. "James," he warns not moving as James looks at him.
"What? Can't I have a bit of fun?" He asks with his hands half up in a shrug.
"Your fun is nobody else's," Gwyn mumbles looking into the flames.
"What did you say?" He asks turning to her.
"You heard me," she says looking up.
"Bitch!" He yells as he suddenly lunches at her.
"James! Enough!" Shane says loudly as he gets up.
James stops and looks at his father before walking to his tent. He closes the zipper before he jumps on his camping bed to go to sleep.
He looks at the sky as the top of the tent is see through and smiles softly. "I know you're watching over me, mom," he mumbles with both his arms under his head.
"Great, you're talking to yourself again," Ben sighs sitting on his bed.
"Fuck you," Jamie says putting up his middle finger to his best friend.
Ben chuckles as he lays on his own camping bed. "Get over the asshole personality, James. Nobody likes it," he says before laying with his back to him and going to sleep.
Daryl looks at Iza who is sleeping on a her side. He smiles softly while he moves a piece of her hair. "You are just your mother," he whispers before looking at the fire again.
