"Now...can you move your toes for me?" Hershel asks.
Iza groans as she wiggles her toes, Ben look at her as she closes her eyes to concentrate. She moves her first left toes and Hershel smiles as he looks at her right toes but they don't move.
"And?" she asks looking at him.
"I want to test something," he says getting up and taking a needle.
He brushes the tip under her left foot which she pulls away. Hershel smiles as he tries her other foot, but instead of pulling it away, a tear runs down Iza's cheek.
Iza looks at Ben who grabs her hand as Hershel moves the needle up to her knee. "There," she says just above her knee.
Hershel sighs as he nods before walking out. Ben walks out and follows him to the others. "Right leg paralyzed just above the knee," he says with a sigh as he looks at Daryl and Rick.
"She can't fight," Rick says before sighing.
"What now? Have her hiding forever? Never to fight or walk again?" Daryl asks.
"No, we will figure something out for her to walk again. We have to. I owe her that much," he says before walking back to the cell.
Iza is talking with Beth with a smile who is holding Judith. Iza is sat up and she plays with a small rattling toy above the baby. The whole day is spend with Iza in bed while the teens sit with her most of the day.
They talk like they used to in Atlanta when they would go swimming or sit around the fire. But it's different, Iza is bedridden, Oliver is new to their group and Beth is with them too.
When Rick and Daryl come back, Iza is sitting on the stairs next Ben. "So, i met this Governor. Sat with him for quite a while," Rick says after grabbing a gun.
"Just the two of you?" Merle interupts him, Rick nods, "Should have gone when we had the chance, bro," Merle finishes before walking away.
Rick continues like Merle didn't say anything. "He wants the prison. He wants us gone. Dead. He wants us dead, for what we did to Woodbury. We're going to war," Rick announces making Ben and Iza look at each other.
