Smut warning! 🚨

"My mother is a vile person!"

I wasn't expecting to hear those actual words coming out of my mates mouth.

Promise stands in front of all us with a wary expression on her face.

I knew something was going on after she received the phone call. She ran out of here faster than a bat of hell.

We all wanted to go after her to see what was happening. Her face grew pale and she looked like she was going to drop chunks at any moment.

She had us all worried.

Instead Dino stopped us, rising from his seat, with a bit of determination on his face.

At first I was worried that he was the actual one chasing after her, knowing that how he has treated her before. Then I realized that with his past trauma maybe he's the one who she should be talking to after all. He could understand her probably more than any of us could. So I resigned myself to just let him go to her.

Not even a few minutes after Dino left Dawson started to get fidgety. Knowing my brother I know that he really cares for her he might even actually love her. Which surprises me, after everything Stacey put him through, I thought he would never be able to trust another woman again. But with Promise I can see that he has definitely changed his attitude toward the opposite sex.

I'm just glad he has managed to move on from what Stacey done to him. Now if I can only get Dino to the same thing maybe this could work out between us and our mate. At least I truly hope it does.

When they all returned from the backyard I seen the looks on their faces causing my anxiety to spike.

Worried that Dino had done something else horrible to her, I glance over to him but all see is worry on his face.

Then Promise spoke those horrid words and I knew that it was much more dramatic than I ever thought it was in the first place.

Staring at her standing there my heart really goes out to her. She's fiddling with the edges of her bright pink gown. Clearly scared out of wits. It couldn't be that horrible could it? I mean she is talking about her own mother like she truly and honestly hates her. I love my own mother she is my saving grace. She always has a smile for her kids and shoulder for us to cry on. She always been there for us no matter what. So I can't picture Promise hating her mother so much. It boggles my mind that a mother should deserve this much hate from her own daughter.
