Let me tell you a story.

When I first met Promise, I automatically felt like my world was complete.

She was everything I have ever wanted in a mate.

Beautiful.

Resilient.

Compassionate.

Loving.

Plus a million more things.

After she met Nick and Jonas on her birthday I thought our lives would just be turning into one big giant piss pot.

But, to my surprise, it actually got better.

A whole lot better.

It's been over three years since then and life has been wonderful and pretty damn great.

Dawson, Knox, and Jaye all graduated from college. Their football careers took off dramatically after they did. Now they are playing in a professional league for the famous team non other than the Stratton Steelers.

Dino and I have taken over our father's business. He retired so he could take care of and spend quality time with my new born baby sister, Kaila. She's a cute little baby, with pale blue eyes just like her siblings. She's barely nine months old but she's been able capture all of our hearts in just that little bit of span of time.

Speaking of siblings, Danny and his mate just had their first child a cute little baby girl named Elena. Barely two months old now but she's a precious little cherub.

The twins, Kayla and Kelli, are about to start college. They're both hoping that they can meet their own mate while attending just like Promise did.

Promise ended up graduating with honors. She changed her major to counseling psychology right after her nineteenth birthday. Wanting to change it so she could help others who have been sexually abused just like she was. I couldn't have more prouder of her.

When she walked across that stage we we all got overly excited whooping and hollering the loudest amongst all of the other people that were watching.

Everyone we knew showed up to watch our loving mate walk across that stage. It was a night to remember.

It was the same night that we all sat down and discussed each of our futures.

Dino, Dawson, and myself all wanted to start a family. Promise was a bit hesitant wanting to wait till she was a bit older. When she told us how she felt about this subject it sort of broke my heart a little.

I accepted it in the long run, it was her decision after all.

But it didn't stop me from yearning to have a family. A child of my own to love and cherish.

When others around that already had children brought their kids around I have to admit I got extremely jealous.

Seeing Lannie with her four kids made me long for a child even more.
