The day was illuminated with special pale beams of fall sunlight, streaming through the small peeks in the grey clouds. The large pine trees were standing starkly, baring down due to the heavy burden of leaves.
Each footstep Eileen took the leaves crunched under her, the fall air was blowing her hair in one direction - she crossed her arms as she continued to walk through the woods she was searching for a shed she hadn't visited in months
Xavier and Eileen found it when they first entered the academy - they spent months cleaning it and decorating and that became their place
She knew the path towards the shed like the back of her hand - every time Eileen visited she would spend her time admiring the painting that's where on display
"What are you doing?" A voice said pausing the girl in her tracks she slowly turned around as Wednesday Addams came out from behind a tree "Is your master plan to kill me" Eileen rolled her eyes
"Don't give me any ideas, that sounds like a win-win" The girl tilted her head "So why are you out here, especially alone" Wednesday walked towards the girl "Im on a walk"
"For someone who doesn't like getting dirty, you sure wouldn't go on a walk in your favorite shoes" Wednesday looked down looking at the girls black Doc martens
"Stop following me" Eileen said as she was walking towards the shed "I should've known your were heading this way" Wednesday walked up to the door and opened it - Eileen followed her inside
"How do you know about this place, Wednesday" The girl grabbed a few papers and gave them to Thing who put them in her backpack "I followed Xavier, then i ran into you which made it a lot more easier"
"Wednesday" Xavier said coming our from the side of the self he didn't looked surprised to see Eileen deep down he knew she still visited their place and that brought him comfort
"What are you doing?" He questioned the girl "I saw you come out this way, What is this place" Xavier and Eileen shared a look before looking at the place they used to spend all their time at
"It's kind if my private art studio" Eileen scoffed under her breath "Weem's let us use it" Xavier said before looking back at Eileen who was trying her best to hide a smile
"Why were you looking for me?" He ignored the girls questions about looking inside "I wanted to go over Ms. Thornhill's assignment"
"There was no assignment" Eileen reminded the girl "Remember?" Xavier added - Xavier and Wednesday where having a conversation but as soon as the word dance came out of Xaviers mouth she felt something she never felt before
"I have to go, check up on Enid" She made an excuse Xavier knew there was something up with her, he knew Eileen better than she knew herself - so he went after her
"Eileen stop" He yelled she didn't listen so he grabbed her writs gently before turning her around "Why won't you talk to me?"
"Seriously? You're asking me why I won't talk to you?" I snap, "For starters, we starters yesterday when we talked for the first time in almost a year Xavier, you acted like nothing had happened Why are you talking me behind closed doors but can't give me a smidge of acknowledgment in public?"
"Your special to me, Lee?" He called her by the nickname she hadn't heard in what felt like forever "Special to you?" It was silent for a moment
"Im sorry Xavier, i shouldn't have snapped at you like that" She was about to open her mouth to say more but he interrupted her "Your going to the rave'n right?"
"Probably" A smirk formed on his face "Oh? See you there" She raised her eyebrows "This time i actually have to check up on Enid"
"So you where lying the first time" He laughed "I wanted to escape Wednesday, you can't blame me Xavier"
