Within the hour, Theo laid scrunched tightly in pain as the contractions were stronger. The nurses have injected her with pain serum that she might've known it wouldn't work as they prepared her for the surgery room.
"Baby, Aries is in the operating room, soon we'll see our babies," Talia murmurs kissing her face, "the nurses will take you..."
"No!" Teddy grumbles worriedly gripping Talia's hand, "don't go," she pleads.
Natalia smiles calmly, "baby, they'll prep you and I'll be right there with you. I won't let you go through this by yourself but the nurse needs to prep you okay? Then when they are done, not a second later, I'll be right there," she affirms soothingly.
Theo lets out a shaky breath, "okay," she hiss as another contraction hits. Her wife coos her steadily through the contraction.
"That's my strong wife," Talia praises kissing her deeply, "now, lets meet our babies," she whispers against her lips.
Teddy smiles and pulls her back in for another kiss, "I love you," she responds.
Talia places a tender kiss on her forehead, "I love you, see you in a minute," she breaths before the nurses began to stroll her toward the operating room.
Light panels pass before her eyes as she falls deep in thought through the slight break from the contractions. Theo was fighting something deeper as the pain corrodes her body. Containing the pain of the contraction was one thing but fighting the inevitable to release the warpath of her powers that thrummed at her fingertips. She could feel the heat radiating yet she was trying her best to stifle it with the combination of her droplets of her sweat and the air from the ac vents. Her hands hid under her body to keep them at bay whilst fighting the pain of labor. Her mind drifts far away to calm the seas before the raging storm approaches. Her body floats from her soft mattress to the cold slate that stings her body nicely. Images of her fond memories flashes before her eyes making her smile as shadows passes behind her eyes lids.
The day when Orianna had creeped from the shadows to greet her and almost having her head blasted off at the end of her gun. The joy that filled her heart at the sight of her sister that came to be in the mortal world to find her. Everyday after that she was fiery, sputtering her quip silver tongue at anyone who angers her. Something Theo was always amazed by the enchanting Goddess.
The handsome brothers that sailed the high seas with no hesitations of the fast approaching storms. The brotherly bond that welcomed her with open arms teaching her life lessons that she could exceed with strategy and her bare hands.
The gorgeous seductress that taught her how to sway the room even though she was praised on her looks alone. A bond that was riddled with poison from cups to endless adventures that took her everywhere. The very need to survive and persevere through the hard times. The enjoyment of lavishness once the hard work was done.
The day Amara had made a lifetime friend in a sorry little girl. The day they finally reunited after her careless rampage to snuff out Hades. The day the nymph had given birth to the little handsome that caught her heart. The very moment she knew she could love someone more than she loved herself as she held the precious boy that she would hold for the rest of her immortal life.
Talia's goofy face comes to mind when she would run away from doing mischievous stunts to her. The way her lips curled after Theo would fluster her into an adorable blush. Her voice that thrums calmly to sooth her brash insecurities that she created with Belladonna. The moments she would catch Talia swaying to a melodic hum that escapes her mouth only to intercept her into a dance. Every morning her eyes would open and see that adorable pouting woman that slept peacefully, only to say goodnight to her every night.
