Eye to eye

Couple days later...

With the ultimate heist on its way, Theo had one more thing to do before the execution. Driving into the pitch darkness, Theo's mind drifted to her busy wife that was preparing their time jumps with just part of the Avengers. She knew all too well the Avengers needed one stubborn man which led her to the lone cabin.

Warm porch lights greet her as she pulls the Range Rover up the dirt driveway. She powers down the car only to retrieve little Moku sleeping in his car seat. Her eyes fell upon the beautiful blonde as she smiles softly in greeting Tony's wife. Slowly she approaches with her son as Pepper hugs her tightly.

Theo beams a radiant smile, "it's been a long time coming," she murmurs in the still night.

Pepper huff happily, "it has," she returns warmly. Her eyes melt from the sight of the baby, "and you brought your son," she muses extending her hands. Teddy peels Moku away from her chest as the woman coos. "Awe look at him, he looks just like Nat," she snickers, "which one is this? The fourth?"

Teddy chortles, "the sixth," she answers before Pepper's eyes widen.

"Six?" Pepper gasps, "six children and you look like this?" she comments gesturing to Theo's body, "you look as if you didn't even have one," she compliments.

Theo waves her off bashfully, "you're too kind," she gushes, "maybe that's why my wife wants more children," she chortles.

"But do you really blame her?" Pepper counters playfully.

Theo guffaws, "not if all the children I bare is a perfect reflection of my sweet wife," she expresses.

Pepper chuckles, "speaking of your wife," she replies slowly guiding Theo towards the front door, "I seen her the other day, when she came to see Tony. He's been a bit off since the visit, I'm guessing you're here to convince him?"

Teddy shrugs nonchalantly, "just to speak to him. I don't need convincing but I am a mother and I have much to lose. Especially with my newborn," she glances down at her son.

The blonde haired woman nods understandingly, "we've been here before but he's changed since Morgan was born," she explains.

"Honestly, this is the only reason why I'm here. My children are most important so I know the feeling that's gripping him inside. I actually want a promise from him," Theo exclaims.

Pepper furrows her brow curiously, "and that is?"

"I don't want anything to change. I want what I have now. My wife, my children, my family. That's exactly what he wants. We see eye to eye on a lot of things and that's what I respect about Tony. So he will understand," Teddy answers firmly.

Pepper gleams a smile, "then lets go see Tony," she gestures opening the door.
