Eira's POV
'I can't believe we are actually going through with his crazy plan. This better work or we're toast.'
Noé and I were running from Jeanne, dodging her attacks left and right.
"Where did he go!? Where is Vanitas!?"
Vanitas burst through a glass window trying to surprise attack her, "Right Here!"
Jeanne was faster and grabbed his leg and threw him at a wall, luckily Noé caught him before impact.
"Nice catch, Noé!"
"May I throw you back?"
"Don't!"
"please focus you two."
Vanitas knocked over a stack of wooden boxes onto Jeanne to buy us time to get away.
"She's amazing. Her reactions are so quick, it's hard to get close enough to do anything about that gauntlet."
"Yep! She's certainly not called the 'Hellfire Witch' for nothing . . . but," I paused and thought of the stories I was told as a child about the dreaded "Hellfire Witch".
"She's far tamer than we thought."
"Hopefully, that will help our plan go smoother."
Noé put Vanitas down, "The plan is as I told you earlier, Noé."
Jeanne burst from the debris. Vanitas and I ran ahead while Noé stayed behind.
"MOVE!"
"I refuse."

Jeane caught up with us as we waited for her arrival. Vanitas and I wore a bored expression.
"Hmmm, finished Noé off already, did you?", Vanitas spoke while I stayed silent.
"Don't worry. I haven't killed him."
"Orders from Master Luca, hmm?"
'That got her attention . . . . '
"What a disappointment."
I removed the scarf tied around my head, my eyes their normal brown, "The Vampire of the Blue Moon often told us stories of the 'Hellfire Witch' the young warrior maiden who raced over battlefields mercilessly slaughtering her own kind."
"He said you were so beautiful it made him shudder. Afterward, they put you into an induced slumber. When I heard that Lord Ruthven had awoken you after all this time, I was thrilled, and yet, " Vanitas smiled mockingly, "I never imagined you'd have degenerated this much!"
Jeanne glared at him, "What are you trying to say?"
'Vanitas always knows what to say to piss people off . . . . riles them up and reads them like a book.'
"I'm saying I'm tired of playing with you." Vanitas drops his book startling Jeanne.
"Dear Vanitas, we haven't introduced ourselves properly, have we?" Vanitas and I both smile, visibly unnerving Jeanne.
"My name is Vanitas. I am a mere human who inherited the name and the Book of Vanitas from the Vampire of the Blue Moon. And as one from whom that vampire once drank, my body has been invested with a portion of his power. I belong to the Clan of the Blue Moon!" Vanitas gestures to me, "This is Eira. The sole heir to the Vampire of the Blue Moon, as his daughter!"
My eyes change to their striking blue, and Jeanne looks panicked. I know we both look scary, especially with the moon casting shadows over us, Vanitas had timed it perfectly.
