Vegas's POV

I was anxious... It's a rare feeling for me to be... My heart was racing with each step but as Pete calmed me down... His voice works like magic like the calm in the storm, he was the reason I am standing here to fight, for my family and for him.

" Khun Vegas, you cannot enter now, Sir is busy right now. "

"I don't need your permission to see him, get the fuck out of my way. "

"Sorry sir, but I can't let you, it's his orders. "

I pushed him aside and entered the cubicle, the other guards were about to charge but Chan came at right time, he was indeed of a lot of help.

"You have 20 minutes to get through the records area, Kant will be aware by then, hurry. "

I rushed towards the safe lock where all the documents and digital data was set, this couldn't be done by anyone else as it's hard to get here even for us, any intruder was supposed to be dead once they entered.

I went in and as I saw the security cameras green dot lights were going off, Pete was working indeed fast and accurate.

The door unlocked as I reached it, I winked at the camera before it went off too, I went in and attached the chip to the database and got on my earpiece.

"Pete you have to hurry. "

"Give me just 5 minutes and it will be over. "

Meanwhile i plunged in to the documents part, the file I have been collecting since a long time, when the guards threatened me for the first time, when they attacked Pete, I had been thinking about it, never knew things will go down so soon.

"What the hell are you doing here? "
I knew who it was, but I had to keep my calm, I slid in the file inside my jacket and zipped it up, the chip, it's the main problem.

"Hey Dad. "

"I asked you who allowed you to be in here. "

"I was alerted, about the intruders, they say a chip is there to seize the data. "

"How do you know that? And who told you? "

"I did. " Kinn backed up the moment with Chan, I was never thankful to him ever but today I don't know I am liking him a lot.

"You? Oh... Kinn... "

"Uncle, Dad wanted to let you know something... I am here to tell you something important. "

"Okay... What is it? "

"I can't tell you here... I mean we need some privacy for that. "

While Kinn distracted him I took the chip as Pete said it's over, Dad looked back suddenly but I was faster than that.

"Vegas, go outside. " I went out and rushed, the half way is done, it's Kinn's job to get  the video recordings of him, as Uncle Korn agreed to help us at the last minute.

I can see the guards rushing towards and it was a signal for me to hurry, I paced up and immediately left the place. Somewhere nearby I found Pete's van but it wasn't quite, I can see him giving deadly punches to the guys approaching, I ran towards him and kicked the guy who was lunging towards him.

"Leave him alone Bastards. "

They backed off as they saw me, I sat at the driver's seat and switched on the engine, as Pete hoped in next to me, it's almost over.

"Are you okay? " I asked him as I can see a bruise over his cheek, only If I knew which asshole did it I will rip off his arms from his torso.

"Vegas... Your Dad is calling you.. " Pete said, his face was shocked as it was indeed a possibility of being caught now.
