last nights sleep was the worse i had ever gotten in my life.

i woke up and felt the need to go back to sleep, obviously i couldn't, because i had class to attend to, i got out of bed and brushed my hair into place, i pulled on my uniform and grabbed my school bag before heading out.

i walked into the classroom and looked around,
no seats.

"ah! y/n we are so very excited to have you join our class! please take a seat"
miss thornhill said

"there's a space next to me" xavier said

"oh i didn't see, thank you"
i took a seat next to xavier and sat down, paying attention to miss thornhill.

after class:

"y/n, did you want to go to the weathervane again?" xavier asked as i was walking out of class

"sure i'd love to!" i smiled at him as he walked off to his next class

after school:

i was walking around the court yard, taking everything in
"hey, you ready?" i jumped, i wasn't expecting anyone to speak to me

"yeah i'm ready, let's go" i laughed

we walked to the weathervane, talking about our days and about the rave'n coming up

once we made it to the weathervane we took a booth to ourselves and tyler came over

"hey, would you like the usuals?" he asked

"yes please" i smiled

tyler brought out our coffees then walked away to serve another customer,

xavier and me shared a small talk over our coffees, our conversation was cut short by xavier's phone ringing,

he answered the phone and looked disappointed,

"y/n i have to go, like right now, is it okay if you walk back by yourself, this is really urgent"

"yes of course it's fine" i smiled at him

xavier sped out of the shop and back into the direction of nevermore.

"hey is everything alright, he kinda just ran away from here" tyler came over

"yeah everything is fine just he said he needed to go somewhere and that it was urgent"

"have you got a way back to nevermore?"

"yeah i'm walking"

"it's getting quite dark out would you like me to drive you?"

"you'd do that?"

"of course i would, you never know what can happen in the dark"

"true, what time will we be going?"

"in about an hours time, is that alright"

"that's perfect" i smiled as i sat down with my coffee once more

i was kind of disappointed because xavier had to go but i'm sure he has a good enough reason, i sat and watched as the sky became more dull,

"hey you ready" tyler asked me with a smile

"yeah let's go" i got out of my seat and followed him to his car

once we were at nevermore gates i turned to him and thanked him again

"honestly i don't mind y/n it's actually been nice"

"okay okay" i laughed as i got out of his car

"thanks tyler!" i said as he drove off

i walked back to my dorm only to find xavier waiting outside of my window,

i unlocked my window and let him in,

"are you okay xavier?"

"yeah, i'm fine i was just worried about you not being back so i come to check up on you" 

i knew he was lying

"i got back fine xavier"

"who drove you?"
how did i know he was going to ask this

"tyler, you know him, from the weathervane"

"yes i know him,i don't like him though"

"why not" i tilted my head

" because last year he assaulted me and destroyed my art"

"oh, well i'm sorry to hear about that, i'm sure he feels sorry too, he doesn't come off as the bully type"

"d-do you mind if i crash here tonight? my roommate is being crazy"

"rowan? he doesn't come off as the crazy type"

"well i didn't think so either till he used his telekinesis to throw me around the room"

"are you okay?"

"i'm fine i just need a place to stay for a while to let him calm down"

"is this the reason why you had to leave earlier?"

"yes, i had to save rowan from putting poisonous gas in your room, and a gargoyle from crashing onto your sister"

"is she alright? why wasn't i told about this?"

"wednesday asked me not to tell you"

"why?"

"she didn't say"

i left the conversation as that as i pulled a few blankets off of my bed, i carried them to my small sofa.

"you can have my bed, i'm gonna get changed"

"a-are you sure?"

"positive, now turn around"

he did as i asked, i quickly got out of my uniform and into some pyjamas,

i got on my sofa and wrapped myself in the blankets

"goodnight xavier"
"goodnight y/n"

tyler's pov:

"goodnight to you too y/n"

i snapped a few photos of her before climbing down off of her porch and back to my car.

okay this one was longer, i might start writing another part tonight but it probably won't get finished but if not then i'm trying to update once a day <3
