i dreaded waking up, that meant that i would have to go on another day with shit that i didn't want to deal with.

i felt xavier's arms drag off of me, and i knew that was because he was awake. i opened my eyes and sat up,

"morning" he said smiling

"good morning to you too" i said as i got out of bed and started getting myself ready for school

"uh, y/n? it's saturday"

i put my school bag down.

"sorry i'm in my own little world this morning" i laughed

i grabbed some jeans and a random jumper out of my wardrobe and put them on, i brushed my hair and sat back down on my bed.

i was hoping i had school just so that my mind was on other things.

"i was thinking" xavier started, i turned my head towards him to listen,
"maybe you would want to go to jericho with me today?"

"sure i'd love to" i smiled at him
no way in hell did i actually want to go to jericho.

i pulled on some trainers and xavier did the same then we started walking towards jericho,

before we could even leave out of the gates of nevermore, wednesday stopped me and pulled me away from xavier by a few feet

"be careful around him sister, i believe he is the monster that is killing all these people" she said before turning and leaving

"what was that about" xavier laughed beside me

"oh, just wednesday being wednesday" i said as i started walking again

when me and xavier made it to jericho, he suggested we went for a coffee break. of course it had to be the weather vane

we walked in and he walked us to a booth towards the back, the second i walked i could feel tyler's eyes burning through me.

when me and xavier sat down, tyler came walking over,

"hey y/n, the usuals?" he asked, as if he didn't threaten to murder someone last night

"yes please tyler" i said with a small smile

about 5 minutes passed and our coffees were brought over to us,

"oh it's my break now" tyler said as we walked off

"don't mind if i sit here do you?" he said returning and sitting right next to me.

xavier gave him evils from across the seat.

"so how are things at nevermore" tyler asked, trying to get rid of the tension

"fine" xavier said
"so y/n, where should we go today?" xavier asked me, paying no attention to tyler

"wherever you want xavier" i said softly

"maybe we should go shopping for the rave'n"

"that's a good idea" i smiled

"about the rave'n y/n"

"yea?"

"did you want to be my date?"

"i'd love to" i smiled

"okay break it up you two i am still here" tyler said ruining the moment

xavier finished his coffee and pulled me out of the small booth before dragging me out the door

"bye y/n!" tyler called after me.

"what is his problem!" xavier said as we walked into a suit shop,

"i think he has no friends" i said not wanting to talk about him

"exactly who would want to be friends with him! the guys a creep" he said flicking through the rails

"what about this one?" i said holding out a white tux,

"i'll try it on" he smiled

he walked out of the changing room,

"thanks y/n you have good taste" he smiled

"the dress code is white so i just looked for white, don't praise me" i laughed

he bought the tux and we left the shop to go to a dress shop,

i looked through the rails and there was nothing that stood out to me, nothing at all.

"it's no good here, don't worry though i'm sure mother will be able to send me something" i said to xavier,

we walked out the shop and something red caught my eye, in the antique shop window was two dresses, exactly the same style, but one was red and one was black.

"i have to get these" i said walking into the shop and grabbing both, i bought them and held the bags

"why both" xavier laughed

"incase wednesday wants to go"

"i doubt that" he laughed again

back at nevermore, i managed to find thing lurking around, i gave him the dress and told thing to hide it from wednesday until she needed it.

i went back to my dorm and got into pyjamas, before laying down and falling asleep, xavier soon followed me and wrapped himself around me before falling asleep himself.
