christmas at nevermore

this is a bonus part because i was kind of missing writing🥲 can't wait until the new season comes out so i can write more 🫶

i woke up to the smell of cinnamon, i couldn't get the smell out of my nose, i looked outside of my window and everywhere had a thick coating of snow, it was beautiful to say the least,

i checked my calendar
december 25th

"christmas" i smiled

at home we always celebrated christmas with just as much spirit as anyone else, but we still made it to our likings, never have i ever seen a colourful christmas tree.

i pulled out a suitcase from under my bed, i had been getting all of my friends christmas presents, all wrapped in a paper that suit their personality,

i pulled on a jumper and jeans along with my boots and began walking to everyone's dorms, i decided on seeing my sister first, even though she wouldn't be half as cheerful as anyone here,

i opened her door and her and enid where already opening presents as they say around their half rainbow-half black tree, right in the middle of the room,

"merry christmas you two!" i said as i smiled at them both

"merry christmas y/n!" enid said getting up and hugging me

"hello sister" wednesday said, she never says 'merry christmas' so it's always a hello.

i pulled out two wrapped presents, one wrapped with a colourful paper and the other plain black, i handed it to them both and said my last goodbyes before leaving their dorm.

my next stop was xavier's room, he was the last person on my list,

i knocked on his door and waited until he opened it, when he did it looked as if he just woke up,

"merry christmas xavier" i smiled

"merry christmas y/n" he said as he pulled me in for a warm hug, which was exactly what we both needed.

"i got you a little something" i said pulling away from him and grabbing the present, it was wrapped in a newspaper i found, it suited xavier's vibe perfectly.

he held the present in his hand and walked us both in his room, he set the gift on his dresser and sat us both down on the bed,

"you didn't have to" he smiled

"i know, but i wanted to" i said as i hugged him again

we pulled apart and looked in each others eyes, he looked so happy, he deserved to be happy, i pulled his face towards mine and kissed him gently, he didn't hesitate to kiss me back, once we had calmed down he rested his head on mine,

"i've missed this" he sighed happily

"i have too" i admitted, lightly kissing him on the cheek

he grabbed my hand and we both walked out of his dorm and onto nevermores grounds, the snow was still falling as we walked somewhere we could be alone,

we where outside of his 'studio',

we stood there, staring into each others eyes, as the snow fell all around us,

"this is perfect" he whispered in my ear

"it is" i smiled against his chest,

he lifted my chin and kissed me once again,

"i-i love you y/n, i'd do anything for you to make you happy" he said pulling away

"i love you too xavier" i said kissing him once more.

i'm not feeling merry at all, i'm still stuck in september🥲 but you guys might not be so i decided to write a christmas part just so that you guys don't have to wait ages for me to post again, every now and again i will update but it is going to be very unfrequent, but i promise youuuuuu as soon as the new season is out i will update ❤️ love you all & have a happy christmas (or if you celebrate something else then i still hope you have a very nice time)

but i heard that a new season was coming out the 26th of december but the source can't be trusted (the source is my sister)
i can't wait to start writing again!
