Y/N

I was still tired, like super tired I'm surprised that I didn't black out on the spot. I sighed as I took my blanket out of my backpack, because it was cold.

Then that's what hit me. We don't have a car. We don't have nothing. My heart started to race as I looked around my surroundings.
"Ma, what are we doing now?" I asked, you could tell I was trying to keep my cool through the shakiness in my voice. Plus the roughness because I had yet to gain my full voice back.

"We are going to be in a hotel for 2 days. Then after that we are going to our house, with our cars already there. We got this covered mija." My mom said, she said it so calmly. My body naturally untensed, making me feel a little bit better.

I was walking with my parents, it seems cool around here. My stomach had a weird feeling, like a feeling you would get when you have to present In front of your whole class. Each time I would slightly crouch I could feel shakiness in my stomach.

I saw a couple of kids playing around as I walked by. I also saw a group of girls my age. They looked me up and down before rolling there eyes. Could they till I wasn't from here? Probably.

I looked around, not even looking what's ahead of me. I was so amazed how everyone was just playing and having a good time. I wish I was a young kid again. I then bumped into someone, he looked around my age maybe a little older. He had short black hair with dark eyes.

I could see a little freckles on his nose. He's eyes were big while his chin was small, so was his forehead. He looked decent. " oh sorry." I said as I walked by.

He laughed it off while he walked the opposite way of me. I saw my parents in the distance, they literally didn't even check if there child was with them. I have such great parents.

I ran to catch up with them. People around probably thought I was crazy. A minor, running around at night. Well maybe around here this was normal. Either way my parents need to start checking if I'm with them at all times.

I finally caught up to them. I was so out of breath and I tried to speak to them as my hand was on my dads shoulder."p-Pah pa we-" I couldn't even finish my sentence when my mom cut me off.

" just around this block is our hotel. We well be here for 2 days." She reminded me. I groaned, they weren't even listening to me. I was gonna ask why we were walking in a straight line for an hour. Like seriously we should've got a car.

We should've never came here in the first place.

We turned the corner as we walked down I could see the hotel, and that was big. Like hella big. It looked fancy as well . It was all white with green vines flowing around. I am so confused. We were in depth last month now we are going to stay at a 5 star hotel.

We walked in. I saw a bunch of fancy people all around. They were wearing nice and expensive clothes while I was dressed like a hobo. With my sweet pants that were stained and my hoodie that had small holes in it.

I felt embarrassed, because I felt like I didn't belong here.

I took in the smell, it smelt like pumpkin. I never really liked the smell but this smelt different. My parents were talking to the girl in Spanish, I wasn't paying attention to what they were saying tho. I was just admiring the hotel and it's quality's, and it had many.

After I heard my parents wrap up the conversation I turned my head and body towards them, knowing we will be going in our room. The lady opened a cabinet that was behind her desk and gave us a key. We thanked her as we walked up the stairs.
