Chapter 40

3rd person

You opened the door and slammed it, but you didn't hear it shut close. Thinking you didn't slam it hard enough, you turned around to close the door. Instead, you were met with a beautiful pare of eyes that were much higher up than yours.

Kevin closed the door, very soft. You then sat down on the bed to charge your phone, you could feel the bed shake just a bit, letting you know the Kevin's weight is on it. You smiled to yourself, you liked the fact that Kevin was next to you. You just seemed comfortable. You heard a loud swallow before a soft voice spoke up.

"What did Luis tell you?" Kevin asked. He didn't have any aggression to it. He was just genuinely confused and wanted to know, and his curiosity got to him. Though he made sure that he said it in a soft voice, so this wouldn't turn into something Kevin hoped it didn't.  All Kevin knew is that he whispered into your ear, which he didn't like at all. He hated how you would let him, and that you smile. Though he was gonna ask before he assumed.

Once you heard that, your mind went blank. It's like Kevin has this effect on you that makes you all speechless. Even for the smallest things he does, you just admire it. You hadn't been like this before, you wondered what the change of your mind was. But that's something to think about another time, right now you need to make a excuse. Or maybe you should just tell him the truth, the more you lie the more you and Kevin's relationship declines. And you don't want that. So you are gonna tell him the truth and try not to make it sound weird.

Kevin stayed on the bed, waiting for a answer. Hoping that your not stalling so you could make an excuse and lie to him Again.

"He asked me to meet him in his room in a bit so we could talk." You replied. Which was the truth, that's what he said even though it sounds weird. Half of you thought that he was trying to do something to you, but the other half took into consideration that he did just want to talk. Although you weren't sure about the whole winking thing.

Kevin didn't believe this. You've lied to him so many times, and this just didn't sound believable. Just to 'talk' ? That sounds like a whole lie, and the fact that Luis winked at you also makes this all sounds like a lie. But again, why would you lie, Kevin thought. You knew that he probably would find out so there was no point. So Kevin did feel a bit more confident that you were telling the truth. Though he had many doubts about that.

"Then why did he wink at you?" Kevin answered back, gentle and soft. This almost put you under a spill that's how hipnotiza you were by his voice. Kevin didn't want to start a fight, he just wanted to know the truth. Because lately he doesn't even know what you guys are anymore. You guys aren't dating, but you have him head. This is all way to confusing.

"I don't know." You replied. Because the truth is, you don't know. All you knew is that he wanted to talk but that sounds weird because the 3 of you gust talked 2 days ago. And apparently from then on out Kevin and Luis were 'cool' with each other so why would Luis wasn't to talk?

"Are you lying to me, y/n?" Kevin asked again. He didn't meen any disrespect behind it. But it all sounded sketchy so he just asked. Though he was giving you one last time to say something if you were lying.

"No, of course not." You responded. You smiled gently at Kevin, just for him to see that you actually didn't know and you wouldn't be lying to him. Kevin saw your little smile, how were you so perfect, yet strange. Kevin smiled back at you before asking a question to reassure.

"So your not going to go to his room?" Kevin asked in a high pitch voice. He hoped that you just laughed and told him no, and that you were gonna stay in the room and rest. But instead you stayed quiet thinking, Kevin frowned a bit, you dont need to be over there.
