I trekked up the mountain, I was shivering and Dark was next to me, she turned to me
"are you cold?" she asked i nodded
"yeah a little, b-but I'll be fine." I replied she starred at me for a second stopping and taking her sweatshirt off, she held it out to me I starred at her shocked
"What? it's clean." she said grinning I just stood there starring at her for a few more minutes
"well?" she said I shook my head taking the sweatshirt from her and looking back at her
"A-are- are you sure?" I asked she grinned
"Of course." she said I hesitantly put the sweatshirt on, it was warm and comfortable she smiled at me giving me a thumbs up, my I felt myself blushing, I looked forwards flipping the hood up and walking forwards she bumped my shoulder I tuned
"hmm?" I hummed
"you ok?" she asked I nodded
"yeah I just- I wasn't expecting that. . ." she said
"well I mean- yeah thats understandable." she said, blushing slightly and looking away
Dark:
Kris had a starstruck look in her eyes and it was just too fucking cute I almost tripped over my own feet as I continued walking
damnit Dark- I thought to myself, she looked adorable in my sweatshirt, I blushed intensly
Kris:
I was trying to make sure that I was awake and that this wasn't a dream when Dark stopped dead i stopped and turned to her
"what?" I asked she was squinting ahead of us and her eyes widened, she grabbed my shoulder and pulled me down onto the snow
"shh, see that?" she said pointing ahead at the snow I squinted at it for a while until I saw the snow move a little it shifted a little I nodded
"stupid fucking snow basilisks." she growled standing slowly I stood too
"I'll be right back." she said
"stay here and for the love of the gods, don't get hurt." she said I nodded
"don't die or I swear to fuck I will bring you back to life and kill you again" I said sternly she grinned
"I won't" she said winking I blushed she ran at the basilisk which at this point had raised it's ugly head out of the snow, she jumped and sliced at it with dayblaze which deffinetly hurt the thing it reared it's head and hissed plunging it's head down towards Dark, my heart dropped for a second before I saw a blade stab up through it's head and she rose out od a hole in the snakes head as it lay there dead she jumped off it and walked over to me panting
"holy shit-" she said
"are you ok?!" I asked afraid she nodded I hugged her
"If you ever do that again I will bash your head in, that scared the shit out of me." I said she laughed
"Oh c'mon I can't die that easily." she said hugging me back
"good." I said
