Margaret Sterling was lying unconscious, until she gets herself up. She was in the middle of an inked maze of halls, almost as if it was sketched from a piece of paper. She can't remember how she got here, but she can vividly remember the Ink Demon. And that's when she noticed she wasn't human. She was an Alice, sort of. Her hands were gloveless, pointy and black like claws, she had a heel and a boot for feet and a broken halo. On the inside she was in a panic, but takes a deep breath trying to keep calm. She decides to look for a way out of this place, hoping she doesn't get lost. Along the way, she claims a jacket, encounters inked terrors and uses her own halo as her weapon. She soon runs into a real life Bendy and a slightly dirty Boris looking like he's wearing a shirt made of dirt. Recognising the voices, she discovers they are her friends and colleagues Hank Kennedy and Rupert Vender. She quickly points out they're a devil and wolf, as they point out she's an angel, as in an Alice. Hank's bowtie was warn and he had a hankie on his leg for fashion, while Rupert found his old hat to go with his "shirt". What they had common was they were all imperfect. The 3 of them agree to work together and find way out of this place. Hank declares he should lead the way, because Bendy is the face and mascot. However, as they go on, they get more lost. Then, they heard it. The ink crawling on the walls as they heard footsteps. Right from the corner, there was the Ink Demon. They run for their lives, until Rupert spots a Little Miracle Station. They hide in there until he disappeared, though it was a little cramped. Hank admits it was his fault they were almost caught by this monster. So he gives the leading role to Margaret.
As they navigate through the area, they gain vivid memories of their human lives thanks to the audio logs, including their own. As they try to remember what exactly got them into this mess, they come across a bunch of inked creeps made of ink and garbage. Seeing some boxes and getting an idea, Margaret orders Hank and Rupert to get some weapons and fight them off. So while the devil and wolf look through the items, the angel takes her broken halo and makes it into a weapon. Hank finds a belt and a wrench to use and Rupert finds a crowbar and some rope. Now they were armed and ready. Together, they fight and beat the monsters. But all the while, they felt something was trying to take control of their bodies and it almost seemed these creatures were crying for help. When Rupert brings it up, Hank and Margaret confess they felt the same feeling. Suddenly, the monster minds themselves once again try to take over, as the 3 hold their heads in agony. But they manage to push them back and Margaret continues to lead.
Elsewhere in the studio, Stewie got himself up but tripped on his own feet, seeing he has 4 legs now, immediately realising he was an Edgar. But he got used to it quickly. Judging by the dirt on his legs, it was like he was wearing pants. He takes his hat and tries to get his bearings. He later hears something approaching, causing him to stand stiff. He saw the Ink Demon's large shadow and quietly steps a few steps back. However, he steps on a noisy floorboard, which gets the demon's attention. So Stewie had no choice but to run. He runs past a Charley with an apron and a Barley, and they run too until they find a miracle station and lose him. The 3 of them quickly recognise each other as Stewie, Frankie Smith and Arnold Fidds. They were all toons, and members of the Butcher Gang. But rather then whacky and silly, they felt all mushy, oozy and wet. Stewie remembers he and the others were doing something, but he can't remember what. They needed to find a way out of here, despite their condition, but that goal was harder then they thought. To survive, they need to arm themselves, and they laugh thinking how Edger has become the leader now instead of Charley. Stewie was stuck with a Gent pipe, Frankie got a fire poker and Arnold got a plunger. But all the while, something was pulling on Stewie's mind. Something was telling him there's something he didn't tell anyone. Arnold dozed off, again. Frankie found his full set of toys, and some scary splattered ones that looked too much like Brute Boris, Twisted Alice and the Ink Demon himself. Their own monster minds attempt to take them over, but they push them back.
