Level 3. We Fight Together

Allison Pendle, currently just an Alice with dirt on her dress, wakes up near the sewage system with a pounding headache and no memory of who she is. Where is she? Who is she? What is she? She can't remember a thing but does remember she was once human. Tomas Conner wakes up too right next to her. Sadly, he didn't recognise his own wife and tries talking to her but can't speak. The 2 of them work together to find a way out. Venturing into the studio, they get company from Searchers, Miner Searchers and Butchers. They fend them off with a pipe, axe and machete and encounter the not so hostile Lost Ones.

Allison sees a river of the ink and takes one step to cross, only to end up sucked into the well of voices. She emerges from the statue right near Tom, who helps her up, and they agree stepping into that stuff is dangerous. To proceed away from the ink, they need to make a bridge.

They get to safer ground away from the ink. It was quiet, too quiet. The silence was broken when the demon appears. Discovering it won't take any damage, they make a break for it. Tom holds him off while Allison go on ahead, and gets his left arm savoured as a result. But he manages to hit the demon in the face, causing him to lose his balance as Allison grabs his hand to catch up. But, much to both their horror, Ink Bendy turns into Beast Bendy, lets out a roar and pushes them aside. Allison carries an injured Tom out of the way to cover, merely escaping the beast trying to grab them, chipping one of her horns in the process. She finally finds a small opening where the Beast couldn't reach, and it walks away. Allison spots that same partly cracked mirror Susie looked through, and she and Tom see their inked forms for the first time. Allison was unsure if this was who she was, while Tom had this strange feeling when he was around this angel. Later, Allison is seen helping Tom connect his new mechanical arm to his body. They leave in search for a hideout from the monsters. They gather supply, fight off monsters, avoid Ink Bendy too, and find a hideout the sewer line safe from it all. In the process, Allison does up her into a ponytail and learns this Boris responds to the name "Tom", as it is his name. Spending sometime in there, they go in and out into the open collecting supply and mapping the levels. At one point, Allison discovers the hidden messages that can only be seen through a piece of glass. Tom uses his skill to make the Seeing Tool for them to see them. But it only leads them in circles. As time passes, they get themselves dressed into a survival fashion, but their memories start to fade.

A while later, they hear a door creek, and later some screaming and shouting. They take leave to see the commotion, only to go past a messy Music Department, a broken elevator and Susie dragging Buddy into the haunted house in the warehouse. And that's when they saw Henry, a stranger. They watch Henry go around flipping the switches and fighting Bertrum to save Buddy, wondering if they can trust him or not. Finally, he heads in and they quietly enter the haunted house too to witness the Brute Boris battle. Susie was about to scratch Henry, but Allison takes action and sticks her machete right though Susie, killing her.

A little later, they hold Henry prisoner, since Tom does not trust strangers as Allison writes her own ink message on the wall. She proceeds to head up to level 6 for supply while Tom keeps an eye on Henry, threatening him with an axe. As she did, she tries to remember who she really was and has a small vision of some kind of farm. Returning to the hideout, Tom still doesn't trust Henry and it was his turn to grab supply. He was trying to think of a way to talk to his companion, till feeling a strong connection. But since he wasn't paying attention to what he was doing, the demon spots him and he barely escapes getting his mechanical arm battered. Meanwhile, Allison discovers 3 audio logs Henry was recording about warning others not to enter the studio, his love for Linda and how much he misses his Boris friend. She began to think maybe he could be trusted if he isn't a threat. Henry gains her trust and she grants him the seeing tool. Through conversation, Allison doesn't think she's meant to leave the studio but Henry is, even though Tom thinks he's dangerous. When Tom returns, Allison repairs his arm, but tells him going out there was a stupid idea and it is only a matter of time before the Ink Demon finds them. He soon does so they had to move on.

Unable to get Henry out of his cell, Tom convinces Allison to leave Henry and she regretfully does. They make their way onto a boat across the river of ink and make their way to the Lost One sanctuary. Allison still felt bad for leaving Henry, making Tom think he made a mistake. There, they see Henry fight an enraged Sammy. Just as he was going to cut off Henry's head, Tom sneaks up and bashes his axe into Sammy's head, killing him. But that makes the Searchers, Miner Searchers and Lost Ones feel threatened, and the battle begins. They send every one of them back to their puddles and let Henry lead the way. But he falls all the way to Administration area, so they had to use a rope. Henry tells them the Ink Demon has something they need and he's going after him. At first Allison disagrees knowing "that's death", but it seemed they had no choice. Knowing they need items to open the door to where they need to go, Tom didn't bother and just smashes it open. They soon grow too close to the demon and stay as quiet as they could, coming to the real ink machine. They bid Henry farewell and watch him enter to set them free. However, a little later, they are engulfed into the beam from the reel killing the beast, holding each other.
