Chapter 7

I sat between Jessica and Bella on the picnic table outside the school. It was a sunny day for once. Sadly Jasper couldn't come to school due to the sun. I look up from my book towards Bella as she watched the parking lot.

"He's not here." Jess says causing us to look at her. "When the sun's out the Cullen's don't come to school."

"So they just skip?" Bella asked.

"No." Jess shook her head looking at the sky. "Dr. and Mrs. Cullen pull them out for the day to hike or camp. I tried it out on my parents not even close." 

"They, went on a long hike." I murmur going back to my book. 

I let out a gasp as Angela pops up laying practically on top of me and Bella.

"I did it!" she says confusing me. "I took control and asked Eric to prom!"

"I told you, you could do it." Bella says.

"Did he say yes?" I asked with a bright smile.

"Yeah!" She sighed happily. 

"We need to go dress shopping. In Port Angeles." Jess says.

"Uh, can I go with you guys?" Bella asked.

"Duh." Angela laughed. "Do you want to go, Anna?" 

"I can't." I say shutting my book. "I've got a date."

"With who?" Jessica asked sitting up and turning towards me.

"Jasper." I smiled shyly.

"I can totally help you get ready." Jess says.

"Oh, uh Rosalie is actually helping me." I say while brushing my hair behind my ear.

I let out a deep breath as Rose handed me a bag and shoe box. I open the first one to reveal a baby blue dress along with matching undergarments. I blush at the sight of them looking at her with wide eyes.

"Oh, nothings going to happen." She laughed her tinkling laugh. "Alice saw them in the store and just had to get them for you." 

I grabbed the box opening it to reveal a pair of beautiful baby blue heels. I grinned hugging Rose before rushing to the bathroom to shower and get ready.

I stare at myself in the bathroom mirror in shock. It was really beautiful and the dress fit me perfectly. I glance at the door as I heard a slight knock.

"Come in." I whispered.

Rosalie walks in with a chair and smiled brightly at me.

"You look gorgeous." She whispered. 

"Thank you." I blushed before sitting down in the chair. 

Rose ran out of the room and was back in mere seconds with my brush, curling iron, hairspray and a bag of makeup. She set to work on my hair and face. Once she finished she moved away from the mirror and I gasp looking at myself. 

"You gotta teach me to do makeup." I say with wide eyes.

"Of course." Rose smiled turning to the bathroom door.

Bella stood there awkwardly. I gave her a small smile.

"You look great, sis." She says. "I'll uhm be back later."

"Okay." I nodded.

Once she left Rose grabbed my hand leading me back to my room and grabbed my Polaroid camera. There was a knock on the door and she disappeared downstairs before calling out to me. I took a deep breath grabbing my cell before heading downstairs. At the foot of the stairs Jasper stood in a pair of black skinny jeans, a baby blue button up, and combat boots. His hair was gelled back slightly. I blushed as he gave me a big smile.

"You look gorgeous darlin." He smiled.

"Alright, picture time." Rose smiled. 

I walked over to Jasper and beside him looping my arm through his while leaning my head on his bicep. Rose covered the flash as she took the picture. 

"You two have fun." She says while setting the camera and photo on table by the door. 

We all three walked out the house and Jasper lead me to a 2004 Mustang. He opened the passenger door allowing me in before climbing in himself. Soon we were speeding through the streets.

Jasper parks outside of La Bella Italia. He climbs out and opened my door for me taking my hand as I step out the car. We walked inside while holding hands. Once we're seated a goth looking waitress comes up. 

"What can I get you?" She asked her back to me.

"I would like a Coke, please." I say sarcasm lacing my voice.

The girl huffed ignoring me just looking at Jasper waiting for his answer.

"One coke to share." He drawled out eyes locked on mine. "And spaghetti and meatballs to share." 

The girl snapped her gum while huffing and walking away. I giggled slightly as Jasper smirked. He reached across the table taking my small hand in his. I blush turning my hand to lace my fingers with his. I jumped slightly as the waitress slammed the cup down on the table sloshing it and almost spilling it on me. 

Jasper sent the woman an icy glare.

"I would like a new waitress." He said voice deep.

The woman gulped and rushed away. I smiled brightly at that.

"Can you tell me more about your kind?" I asked quietly. "Do you all have the mood control?"

"No," Jasper smiled leaning forward. "That's only me. Edward can read peoples minds, except yours and Bella's, Alice can see the future, Emmett is strong, Rosalie has enhanced beauty, Esme's to love passionately, Carlisle has compassion and Lilith has the ability to control water and ice."

Soon a waiter walked over apologizing for the woman with our food.

Jasper and I walk out the resteraunt to see Bella and Edward talking to Angela and Jessica. I gave Bella a smile as she gave me a shaky one causing me to frown. Angela looked back and gawked at me causing Jess to do the same.

"Oh, wow you're very beautiful Anna." Angela says. 

Jess huffed walking to her car. I gave Bella a hug before Jasper lead me to his car. We climb in heading back to my place.

Jasper pulled up to my house. I turned to Jasper and smiled at him.

"Tonight was fun." I whispered.

"It was." He smiled. "Get some rest darlin."

I gently cup Jasper's cheek pressing my lips to his sweetly before pulling away.

"Goodnight, Jazz." I giggle as he sat there frozen. "Stay the night."

"I will darlin." He smiled. "Goodnight."
