Chapter 13

Revenge!
Giselle's pov

"There is no way that Riley is keeping him." I mumbled to myself, as I paced around my room.

"Sister, you can always get him back," said my evil twin Amanda.

"How's that? Sister." I asked, feeling confused.

"Oh, baby sister. I have my ways." She said giving me the evil smile, as she said that I felt excited.

"You may do anything as long as I get Niall back." I agreed.

Riley's pov

"NIALL!" I screamed. Running around the apartment looking for him.

"IN THE LIVING ROOM!" Niall shouted back with his Irish accent that gave me the shivers.

"Oh, my gosh Niall I need ice cream." I told him, and he laughed.

"Okay, m'lady where shall we go?" Niall asked, bowing and reaching his hand out for mine.

"TO POMPEI'S." I screamed.

"WHY ARE YOU SO HYPER?!" Niall shouted.

"BECAUSE I HAD SUGARRRRRRR!" I screamed, jumping on the couch in the living room.

"I think you need to calm down, Riley." Niall told me. Not moving from his spot where he was watching tv.

"Okay, can we go to the ice cream store?" I asked, as I stopped jumping on the couch and sat down beside him and making my best puppy dog face.

"Aww, that's cute. Yes we can go to but after you change out of your pajamas." he said, and pinched me on my cheeks lightly.

"Okay, yay!" I said running into my room to change. After I changed both of us walked to the park.

"You wait here, I'll go get some ice cream for us. What do you want?" Asked Niall.

"I want hazelnut gelato, please. Those are my favourite." I replied, leaning back against the bench and blinking at him.

"What about you?" I asked.

"I'll have everything!" Laughed Niall before sprinting towards Pompei's. I giggled and crossed my leg over the other, observing my surrounding.

There was a little girl, someway off, as she tossed a ball at her brother. there was nobody else around which was odd since it was quite a sunny day and not hot. There was a little disturbance in the trees behind me and a band of sparrows flew out from the leaves. I watched them fly away when something really hard collided with my face.

I fell off the bench, half stunned. before I had time to recover, a hand with a soft cloth covered my face. I hit out randomly, struggling to breathe, I couldn't see anything.

Strong hands pinned my down against the ground of the park and I could feel the dirt under me. I screamed out but it came out mumbled and there was evidently something in the cloth because my mouth was filled with a bitter taste suddenly.

A stifling stupor was coursing through me and I could feel myself fade. A few seconds later, the darkness numbed me.

Niall's pov

I walked to the ice cream store, thinking about how excited Riley would be after I get three scoops of hazelnut gelato for her.

When I entered the store I headed straight for the counter.

"What can I get you, sir?" The cashier asked me.

"I would like some of everything in a box and three scoops of hazelnut gelato in a separate box." I said, with a smile.

"Uhhh, okay sir your order will be done in ten minutes. Please take a seat on one of the tables." The cashier said.

"Okay, thanks." I said as I went and sat down at a table. I texted Riley that I got some of everything and that I will be done in ten minutes.

After ten minutes of waiting I got the ice cream, yet I didn't get a reply back from her. I started to get worried as to why she didn't reply yet. I walked back to the bench I left her at, and saw that she was not there. I started to get really worried and nervous, so I put down our ice cream on the bench and called her. After four rings she still didn't pick up so I hung up and called again, yet she still didn't pick up.

"Where could she be?" I mumbled to myself. Looking around everywhere.

"Hey, Niall what are you doing?" I heard Giselle ask. Shivers went through my body as she said that. Furious I screamed at Giselle "WHERE IS RILEY?!"
