While Rick sat in the passenger seat and Michonne drove, Hunter sat in the backseat next to Carl. They were all determined about finding anything that could help them. Hunter was confident they would discover everything they needed, including food, weapons, and ammunition.

They've been on the road for about an hour now and they haven't come across anything worth searching. The car was fully silent. There was nothing to talk about. As they were driving there was someone on the side of the road pleading for them to help them. But they couldn't stop. And they didn't.

Hunter moved his nephew's head to face the front again. He didn't want Carl to focus on what they just did. It's what they had to do. Michonne slowed the car down so they could see if there was anything in the other cars on the road. But the car came to a full stop and Hunter furrows his brows in confusion.

"Why are we stopped?"

"It's stuck," Michonne answers.

Hunter sighs, on his left, there was a walker trapped under a car. And suddenly a walker popped up at his window. His flinched back, it scared the shit out of him. But there wasn't just one walker. A dozen of them started banging on their windows.

"Cover your ears," Rick told them. All of them covered their ears. Rick rolled down his window ever so slightly and fired his gun at the walker's head.

Hunter took out one of his knives and rolled down his window just a bit and stabbed the walker in the head. It dropped to the ground and another one took its place. All of them sat in the car with their windows down and started killing the walkers until there were none left.

They got out of the car and started searching for anything that could help them get the car out of the mud. Rick found a few things and Michone got into the car and waited for Rick's signal.

"Hey," Rick calls Carl over to the front of the car, "Put something under the car like this with a little gravel and sticks. It gives you traction."

"Wouldn't have to do it if she didn't get us stuck," Carl responds.

"It was an honest mistake," Hunter tells his nephew.

"Why'd you let her come?" Carl asks them "She took you guys to Woodbury and you said she just split on you. And Oscar died and you guys–"

"It wasn't that simple," Rick states, "We asked her to come today. I didn't want to leave her at the prison if we weren't there, not with Merle. That and we got common interests."

Hunter bent down to help his brother put the stick's under the car, he glances over at Carl, "Right now, we have the same problems. So maybe we can work on them together. And I like her. I mean, come on, have you seen her with that Katana?"

Carl stiffened his smile. He was trying to have a serious conversation with them and Hunter had to make him laugh, "Just for right now?"

"Yeah, just for right now," Rick nods.

"I'm thinking we need her around forever," Hunter says, "She's gonna become my new best friend. I'm telling you right now."

Michonne was listening to their conversation. She was annoyed that they still didn't trust her but she did crack a grin when she heard Hunter talking. She was sure he was the only friend she's made while she's been at the prison.

"Hey! Help me! I'm begging you! Don't leave!" The guy they saw on the road was catching up to them. "Please!"

Hunter tapped the car as he watched the man run to them. He was still pretty far but if they couldn't get the car out of the mud he would catch up to them. But the car moved, "Let's go."
