"This is where it all starts tomorrow," Rick shouts over the snarling of walkers. They had found hundreds of thousands of walkers trapped below a hill. Trapped by trucks and if those trucks fall they were going to have a problem, "Tobin gets in the truck, opens the exit and we're off. He hops out, and catches up with his team at red staying on the west side of the road. Daryl gets on his bike–"
"You see that?" Sahsa points to the truck on the other side. The road was collapsing and it was taking the truck down too.
"Holy shit," Hunter mumbles as he watches the truck fall, "It's open! We got to do this now! We're doing this right now! Tobin's group, get moving, go!"
"No, Hunter, we're not ready," Carter exclaims.
"We don't have time to be ready!" Hunter shouts back, "Sasha! Abraham!"
"Damn straight, we'll do it live."
"You meet Daryl at red. Let him take them through the gauntlet," Rick shouts orders.
Sasha nods as she opens the car door, "Yeah, we meet at red."
"Go!"
"Rick, I'll hit the tractor place," Glenn says, they were all rushing to get to their positions but they should have it down, they've been practicing for this.
"Okay, who else?"
Carter grabbed onto Hunter's arm stopping him from doing anything, "Hunter, this was supposed to be a dry run."
"Daryl, get ready," Hunter ignores Carter, there was nothing they could do. Did Carter think Hunter could just sweep down there and pick up the big ass truck? It wasn't supposed to happen this way but it is.
"Hunter, we haven't even gone through the whole plan."
"Oh my god. You want to go back, go back. We're finishing this."
"Tobin, you hit it on my signal. They're heading for home. We don't have a choice. Get ready to hit the flares," Hunter pulled out his gun as he waited for Rick's signal, "Now!"
Hunter fired his flare gun three times before stuffing it into his holster and grabbing his gun. Tobin moved the truck on Rick's signal and the walkers started coming through the entrance on their side.
Once the rest of their people at the whole left, Rick, Michonne, Hunter, and Morgan ran to their positions. They had everything set up already, cars were blocking off the woods so they had control over the walkers.
Hunter pulled out his walkie, all of this happened so suddenly that they didn't have everything ready, "Glenn, you there yet?"
"Almost. We'll have it handled before they get here. And we'll meet you at yellow."
With the help of Eugene, Hunter was able to make a hand full of walkies. Carl helped them with it. It was on Carl's list of things he wanted to do with Hunter and they got to check it off.
"Copy that," Hunter clipped the walkie back onto his belt as they reached the yellow balloons.
"It'll hold," Rick assures them.
"Well, that's good," Michonne says, "You know, considering where we're standing."
"Michonne."
"Yeah?"
"Back when you were in that place...where I lived...did you take one of my protein bars?" Morgan asks.
Hunter looked away from them as he tried his best to hold in his laughter. Rick met his brother's eyes causing the two to share a smile as Michonne answers Morgan's question, "No."
