CHAPTER 1 - PROBLEMS ALREADY

Mom, dad, Rin, and I came rushing through the emergency room doors. 

"DOCTOR! I NEED A DOCTOR!" Dad yelled. Some nurses came rushing to us. 

"What seems to be the matter, sir?" A nurse asked. "MY WIFE IS GOING INTO LABOR!" Dad shouted,

The nurses started to panic as well. "GET A WHEELCHAIR PLEASE!" They yelled.

Once the wheelchair came, dad set mom onto it and the nurses started to wheel her into a room. 

Dad, Rin, and I walked behind them and sat in the chairs in mom's room. 

I started to zone out when the doctors and nurses came in and started to talk. We all stayed in the room for more than 5 hours.

Rin tapped my leg. "Nii-chan. I'm bored." Rin pouted. I sighed. "I can say the same thing." I replied.

I heard the nurse inside the room giggle along with mom and dad. We both looked at them confused. 

"You boys don't look excited to meet your new sibling soon." The nurse giggled. 

Rin creased his eyebrows. "Well, why is it taking so long then?" He asked.

The adults laughed. "It takes some time. You will understand in the future." Mom said.

"Say, do you all know the gender of the baby?" We all shook our heads. Mom smiled. 

"We want to keep it a secret until the day the baby arrives. Though, I hope for a boy once again." Mom said while rubbing her belly.

Dad smiled. "I'm ok with any gender." Me and Rin nodded at dad's words.

"That's wonderful. Well, you are 6 cm dilated and once you're 10 cm, we can start pushing." Mom nodded. "Alright." 

I could tell mom was in a lot of pain. She looked like she was about to cry and was sweating a lot. 

Without me knowing, Rin and I started to doze off again and slept against each other.

We were both woken up by mom screaming. "I FEEL LIKE IT'S TIME!" She screamed.

The doctors and nurses started to wheel her into the labor room and made me and Rin sit outside. 

We listened as mom yelled like a mad woman for the next hour or so. Just then, it went quiet and all we could hear was a baby crying.

I turned to Rin. "Well, that's our new sibling, Rin. You're not the youngest anymore." I smiled.

Rin giggled. After a few minutes, dad walked out with the baby. 

It was wrapped in pink blankets which means that it was a girl. We now have a baby sister. 

"Boys, meet your baby sister, Itoshi (M/N) (if you have a middle name) (F/N)." Dad introduced us to the baby.

Dad bent down so we could see her. We looked at our new sister with curiosity. She was very small with pale skin and a head full of (H/C) hair. 

It seemed like she felt stares and opened her eyes. She had the iconic Itoshi family green/teal/blue eyes. She then proceeded to smile at us.

"She's so pretty." I said in awe. I smiled and brought up my finger to her and (F/N) actually grabbed it and giggled. 

"Aweee." Rin squealed as he then softly pinched her cheeks. 

"It's like mochi." He commented. "Dummy." I rolled my eye. We continued to play with (F/N) until Rin brought up a good question. 

"Does mom know that (F/N) is a girl?" Rin asked. Dad and I looked at him.
