CHAPTER 25 - DATE

3rd POV - AUTHOR

After her day with Sae, the both of them split up just before dinner time. 

Just a few moments later, Rin called his sister. 

"Moshi moshi?" She answered. "(F/N), could you meet me at that pier we would go to back when we were little?" Rin asked.

"Sure. I'm still out so why not?" She replied. "Oh? Where did you go?" (F/N) was wary of mentioning Sae.

"It went to get my hair touched up." She answered. "Ah, alright." Rin nodded.

"I'll see you in a bit. See ya, Rin-nii." She smiled. "Yeah." 

In less than 15 minutes, (F/N) saw Rin sitting on the other side of the railings, facing the setting sun. 

"Rin-nii." The said male looked away from his phone and to the side to see his sister sitting beside him.

Noticing that she was wearing a skirt when it was windy, he took off his sweater and placed it over her thighs. 

"Thanks, Rin-nii. But aren't you going to be cold?" (F/N) asked.

"Don't worry about me. Also, nice hair cut." (F/N) smiled. "Thanks, I wanted to change it a little." She replied. The 2 stayed silent the entire time.

(F/N) let it be, knowing that her brother had a lot on his mind. 

After an hour, Rin stood up and faced the sun with new determination in his eyes. 

"Come on, (F/N). Let's get dinner and then I'll walk you home." Rin said.

(F/N) gave Rin his sweater back and took his outstretched hand to get up. "Alright." She nodded.

Like Rin said, after dinner, he walked his little sister home. 

"Text me when you get home, alright? And say hi to dad for me." (F/N) said.

"Alright, good night, (F/N)." "Good night, Rin-nii." The sibling bid each other good night.

When (F/N) unlocked the door to the apartment, she noticed how not a lot of things changed.

No one was home so she was able to explore the house freely. It seems like Benjiro moved in. 

When she entered her room, it was kept neat and untouched which made her happy. 

Getting cleaned up before heading to bed, before (F/N) was able to close her eyes, her phone dinged 3 times.

When she opened her phone, it was a message from Rin saying that he was home, Anri talking about the restart of Blue Lock, and Isagi who asked if she was free the next day. 

After responding to all her messages, she was able to sleep.

Tomorrow, at 12 p.m. Isagi will be taking our MC on a date. 

A picnic date. (F/N) and Isagi were able to sleep like a baby that night. 

When (F/N) woke up the next day, she got ready for her date. 

She decided to wear something casual, light blue jeans with a white hoodie over a black t-shirt and converse. (Or anything you would like)

Her outfit was good for either gender which was good for her. When she stepped out of her room with her bag and into the kitchen, she saw her mom and Benjiro eating brunch. 

"Oh! So you were home!" Her mom smiled. "Morning, (M/N)-kun." The said person nodded.

"Morning." She answered back. The older woman looked her 'son' up and down. 

"Where are you going? You just got back home." The woman asked.

"I'm going to meet up with my teammates." (F/N) replied.

"Ah, I see. Have fun! Call us if you need anything, my baby boy!" She smiled. "Sure." 

With that, (F/N) left the house and went to the location provided by Isagi.

When she arrived, she saw the boy waiting for her under a tree in a nice field. 

He had a blanket set up and all along with a basket filled with what seems to be food. 

"Yoichi-kun." (F/N) called out. The said male looked up and smiled at (F/N) with his cheeks coated with a pink blush.

"(F/N)-chan. You look good. Nice hair cut too." Isagi said.

The said girl blushed and looked to the side. "Thanks. You don't look too bad yourself." She smiled.

The male was wearing a button up under a sweatshirt and jeans. 

"Come on, have a seat." When they both sat down, Isagi took out all the food he brought.

"When I told my mom about going on a date, she spent the entire morning preparing food for us." (F/N) giggled. 

"She seems like a nice woman." She commented. "She is." Isagi smiled.

The both of them started to eat while having casual talks. The both of them got to know more about each other.

If they were still in Blue Lock, this wouldn't be happening because of the amount of training and things being done during the day. 

The 2 never really had time to get to know each other until now.

During this lunch time together, after getting to know more about each other, they really felt a strong connection between the 2 of them. 

After finishing the food, both of them just lay down on the blanket while talking and looking at the sky.

Isagi, trying to test the water, laid his head on (F/N)'s thighs. 

On instinct, the female's hands went to the boy's black hair and started to play with it. 

Later on, the both of them started to play soccer in the open field.

When it was dinner time, Isagi led (F/N) to a local ramen shop. 

They both ate ramen while laughing their asses off. When it was dark, Isagi walked (F/N) back home. 

"Thank you for today, Yoichi-kun." She thanked him. "It's my pleasure, (F/N)-chan." Isagi replied.

The 2 of them stood in front of each other in silence.

They were lost in each other's eyes and without them knowing, the gap between them was slowly closing. 

The next thing you know, the 2 shared a kiss together under the full moon.

 When backing out due to the need of air, the 2 looked at each other with blushes on their faces.

"There's no need for a 2nd date, right? I could call you mine now, right?" Isagi asked.

"So direct." (F/N) teased. "But yes, you can call me yours." She answered.

Isagi couldn't help but hug her and kiss the crown of her head. 

"God, you don't know how crazy you make me feel, (F/N)." Isagi muttered. "I can say the same."

Isagi waved at his now girlfriend as she disappeared into the elevator. 

"Text me when you get home safely!" She yelled. "I will! Good night!" "Good night, Yoichi!" 

When (F/N) went inside her apartment and into her room, she quicked texted Anri if she could meet up tomorrow to tell her everything in person.

After getting a positive response, (F/N) got ready for bed. 

When she returned and was able to fall asleep. Her phone rang. 

She checked her notification to see it was Isagi telling her that he made it home and wished her to have a good night. 

(F/N) was giggling and kicking her leg. She was hella whipped for Isagi Yoichi.
