POV - MIKAGE REO

With (F/N) on my back, I listened to what Ego was talking about.  knew I had to re-explain it to (F/N). 

-That means some of us would have to play midfielder and defence, but also goalie.- 

I glanced at (F/N) in the corner of my eye as she laid her head on my shoulders.

-(F/N)'s good with any position. She's a natural all-rounder.- 

"The formation of Blue Lock will surround the following 7 names who I will be calling out. Given all the evaluations, these individuals are the top 6. 

Pretty confusing but you'll understand. With the goal of putting a team together, this method will be the best. Those I call, step forward." Ego said.

I nudged (F/N). "I think your name will be called out." I said. "Huh?" She looked at me. 

"Since there's a limited time to make a team for the game next week, Ego will be calling names from the top 6, there will be 7 names called out though." I explained.

"Ah." She nodded. "First, as overall #1, there are 2 players. Itoshi Rin and (L/N) (M/N)." Ego called out.

I dropped the said female. "Go stand beside your brother." I encouraged her. 

"I'll see you later, Reo." She smiled at me while I ruffled her hair. 

"Go on. I'm proud of you for being this far as the only female." I said.

I watched as she stood right beside her brother with a smile. -I feel like a proud father.-

POV - ITOSHI RIN

As my name as well as (F/N)'s name got called out, we stepped forward. 

She stood right beside me but started to zone out but it looked like she was actually paying attention. 

I watched as the top 7 players were separated but thank goodness (F/N) and I are still together with some other dude.

It was basically a tryout for the other dudes but the top 7 players get to play in each round, with either me or the other dude switching to let (F/N) play of course. 

"First, the top 7, you will all proceed into a different room." Ego said.

I tapped (F/N) to signal her to follow me through a door to a different room as I informed her of what she didn't listen to.

We all just sat down or stood in the room, waiting for Ego to talk to us. "You'll need to pay attention to this one at least." I said.

I looked at (F/N) who wore the iconic Itoshi face, the uninterested face. "Alright." She nodded.

The screen turned on and in came the bowl-cut haired male. -What a jumpscare.-

"By fighting to come this far, all of you have proven your place as Blue Lock's elites. I have turned each team A-C with the pairs that'll allow for the most attack power. Team A, consisting of Itoshi Rin, (L/N) (M/N), and Shido Ryusei, you guys will be taking turns on the court." 

-Obviously.- I rolled my eyes.

"Show me attacks that you couldn't do alone." It looked like Ego was looking at me and (F/N) which creeped me out. 

"Think of others as tools to make you the best striker in the world. And don't you dare have your position taken by someone not in the top. All of you stand at the top of Blue Lock, the soccer that you created will become the blades that destroy Japanese soccer. Remember that."
